Can't seem to publish my chrome extension

Violation: Not providing a valid privacy policy in the designated field

I have tried adding a privacy page in the chrome dev dashboard's account tab but that didn't help.

Would really appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

    I had the same problem. Back and forth several time, trying everything but got rejected every time for weird reasons.
    Usually, they give you a way to contact them and you should, because you'll never know what's really wrong.

    For me, they gave me sometime 1 sometime 2 violations and when I contacted them, they responded with: "You send your files wrong, we can't test it!" 😄

    So don't waste time on those cryptic messages and contact them.
