Celebrating ProductHunt launch - free promo codes!

Hello,

I've just launched my project, Timelog, on ProductHunt!

The IndieHackers community has been pretty supportive and I'd like to give something back, so I'd be happy to give out some promo codes so you can unlock Timelog's premium features for free!

The app is only available for Android at the moment. If you're an iOS user I'm hoping an iOS version will be available in the next couple of weeks!

If you'd like a free promo code, just reply here and let me know! I'll share it by twitter/email if available on your profiles.

I would also love to hear any feedback about the app! Thanks IndieHackers!

Nice to see another time tracker here! It is fun to see how different directions time tracking can go, Simple is the name on my time tracker.

Good luck with the launch today! :)

Thank you! I agree there are tons of time/habit trackers out there, each one focuses on different aspects. Your app looks interesting as well, I'll be following its progress!

Hey @giall, I love your simple and clean design!
I know that it's tempting to launch this kind of application as a native app. However, I am working on my laptop most of the day so I would rather use a web app for time tracking as I don't like to look at my phone too often - it's super distrac... new Instagram message coming in.
Have you considered programming with React, Next etc.?
Anyways, as a web app, I'd definitely give it a shot!
    Have a good day mate!

      Thank you for the feedback!

I've built the app with Flutter, which supports web so a web app for this would definitely be possible! There are performance concerns currently with Flutter, but if the app is popular enough I would be happy to write a web app for it using React or something similar.

The main thing about a web app is that it would require some more work on a back-end and there would be hosting/usage costs so it would have to be subscription-based (paid, but not something crazy, possibly something like $3/month with cheaper yearly options).

Hopefully if there is enough interest for the app I'll be working on the web app next and you'll be able to try it!
