What I missed about my commute time is that it was my dedicated audiobook or learning time. When I was forced either into driving or taking public transit, I was locked in a place where I could not respond to other events.
Every time listening to audiobooks, I learn and get inspired. Spending time back in the San Francisco Bay Area and driving a little bit during the weekend, and miss this dedicated time listening to audiobooks. I have accrued 10+ credits at one point, due to the pandemic, sans commute and sans running, I have stopped listening until recently, I try to listen before I go to sleep--which is not very productive as I have to think where is the place in the book when I fell asleep. Maybe I should manufacture some drive-around time so that I can regularly listen again?
