I'm in the midst of starting a few small products but none are to the point of needing a landing page yet. To gain some more experience I built out a new landing page for my consulting business: https://ninebark.dev
Not certain if a consulting business is outside the normal scope but I welcome any feedback that may help building future landing pages.
"Ninebark helps businesses establish efficient product development practices and effective business infrastructure to rapidly release quality products."
That's very corporate. And Honestly even after reading it twice and pasting it here I'm not sure I got any value from it or that it helps me understand who you are or why I should choose your company at all. It seems like just something you have to put there because that's what you do on landing pages right? Can you tell me something more exciting? Something I want to read. Something that will help me understand your business and what I'm getting better.
As I keep reading it feels like most of the landing page feels the same way. A lot of corporate like copy. The about section is also a little dry. As a client I don't care about what anyone's background is I care about what results you can show me. Any pictures of stuff you've done before would be helpful, numbers of success stories, or specifics would help a lot!
Hopefully that's helpful, hit me up if you have any specific questions!
Thanks for the feedback! All good points and I'll need to think on this a bit more. Truthfully the corp-speak was in consideration of the type of customer I'm expecting. However, maybe I should really be writing to small and medium size business which is what I would rather attract.
I'll try a few different rewrites and see where that sits compared to what I have now.
