I recently started working for a marketing education SaaS called Phlywheel, I think we're building a really great, engaging space on the internet for marketing professionals to gather, discuss, and learn!
(Note: While this may sound a lot like IndieHackers, it is very different! I'd compare IH to reddit, and Phlywheel more to the traditional social media channels. See for yourself: https://my.phlywheel.com/feed)
We're part membership platform and part store/resource centre, and one of our earliest and biggest challenges is getting people to sign up for a paid plan.
What tactics do you use for getting people's foot in the paid-membership-door? It's one thing to get sales, but right now we really just want people signing up for memberships and engaging with other members and general discussions.
