Cool deals from indie makers I discovered this week

Hi!

If you're not interested in SaaS acquisitions, creating a knowledge base, business ideas, Notion, data science, Gumroad affiliate partnerships or optimizing SaaS conversion rates you can stop reading right now.

Otherwise, let's dive in.

  • Just today Andrew Gazdecki, the guy behind Micro Acquire, announced that he's giving 10 SaaS acquisition eBooks he wrote this year away for free. Currently it seems as if the offer is valid only for the first 100 customers. So make sure to grab them quickly here. I just did and can confirm that they're beautifully designed and full of useful advice.
  • I love tools that empower users of popular tools to do more than anyone would've thought is possible. A famous example in that category is Sheet2Site which allows anyone to build a website just by using Google Sheets. So I naturally got excited when Sai Arora announced a new tool like this. Kbee let's anyone create a professional knowledge base directly from Google Docs. The first 25 users get completely free access to all features. So if Kbee sounds like something you'd find useful, make sure to sign up here.
  • Andrew Kamphey just announced that he's publishing a list of 100 business ideas you can build just using Google Sheets and Gumroad. And of course, he's just using Google Sheets and Gumroad for this product itself. Although the list is not finished yet, it's already full of cool ideas I want to try immediately. Get access to the list here before Andrew realizes that it is far too valuable to be given away for free.
  • A smart idea that could come straight out of Andrew Kamphey's playbook is Thomas Sanlis Gumroad Affiliates List. It's a marketplace for Gumroad creators and affiliate marketers that's built entirely using just Gumroad plus Airtable. The first 10 customers were able to pre-order the product for just $1 but the price is still only at $5 for the next 10 customers before it raises to $10, $20, and eventually to $45. Since I'm a Gumroad creator myself whose always looking for affiliate partnerships, I immediately pre-ordered Thomas' list and if you want to do the same, you can do it here.
  • If you're a Notion poweruser like myself, you'll love what Sam Dickie is currently offering. Instead of just another Notion template, he published a Notion Component Kit consisting of 60 components that you can mix and match however you want. Think of it as Tailwind UI for Notion. The components are particularly useful, if you want to publish a personal website or resume using Notion but, of course, can also be used in any other context. And even though Sam is already charging far too little (~$9), he's offering a 30% discount for the first 50 customers that use the code "THISDICKIE". Purchase the component kit here.
  • Indie hacker Andrey Novikov just announced the start of an open beta for his pretty slick looking tool Video Touch. It's a tool that allows anyone to embed an asynchronous video conversation on their website. (My unsolicited opinion is that as soon as they replace the asynchronous videos with live video conversations they have a real winner. Live streaming shopping is already huge in Asia and maybe Andrey and his team are getting there.) The first 20 user's will get completely free access. To see the tool in action and sign up, click here.
