Cyber Insurance?

Hello Everyone!

I'm launching an online subscription service in the next month or so where I'll be collecting personal and billing information from my customers. There are lots of laws related to being PCI compliant, etc.

Does anyone recommend Cyber Insurance to protect your business against data breaches, ADA compliance, etc? If so, are there any companies and policies that you recommend?

I'm asking because in some states the LLC annual fees can wipe out any profits from a small subscription software company like mine, and so I'm trying to look at alternatives to protecting against potential liability.

Thanks!

Yes, it's a very good idea to have cyber insurance in your case. A lot of policies will show regulators you're compliant by helping you in the aftermath of a breach. For example, a call centre to notify affected customers and things like that.
