Hi!
I am an indie hacker with a dozen or so side projects. Some successful, others not so much :) Many of my projects have some low level of maintenance that is required. For me it's mostly data cleanup, content creation and moderation of user content. The problem I was having was remember to check all the various admin pages that I have created over the years on each site.
Thus, I created my newest side project to solve my own problem (https://www.t4sk.dev). Think of it as Mechanical Turk for yourself. Use an API to feed microtasks in from any number of sources and then you have one single dashboard to check each day with a queue of your personal microtasks to blitz through. It saves time, and it makes sure you don't forget some low priority thingambob. Answers are sent back to your website via a webhook. If you work in a small team, you can set it up to share microtasks between accounts.
It took me a couple of hours per side project to connect up and now I have one place to check each morning to maintain all my projects. I've been using it for the past few months and it's already made my life easier. Even if I'm the only user it ever has, it was worth it!
Now that I've worked out the kinks for myself, Id love to get a few non-me users to get some feedback. If you have short tasks that you need to complete daily or weekly to maintain your side projects, please get in touch. Id love to give you free concierge service and get your feedback to improve my product.
PS. The website design is vanilla bootstrap right now. I need to improve that at some point. I named it T4SK because it's short, resembles "task" and because I like star wars and thought T4-SK could be the name of my droid mascot when I get around to hiring a graphic designer.
I think you could easily improve the homepage, i've annotated it here with suggestions : https://i.imgur.com/37k4CzM.png
I think the difficulty is the integration with side project. Maybe make a wp plugin to auto send the comment reviews tasks of multiple sites to t4sk, and advertise it as such. Also consider making a ittt plugin :)
Thanks for the annotated screenshot. I'll work on the design with those tips in mind :)
Also, thanks for the ideas about a WP plugin and IFTTT integration. Both great ideas that I will explore.
Jake, I just visited your website.
To start off, I don't know if I am your target audience to be your "user". But being a nobody, I can still be the "tester" for your product if you want me to. I recently even made a post where I tested their products. Feel free to ping me anytime on this.
I read your side note on your product name. IMO you still really need to think about it. I mean you're already on .dev (not a .com) and a number just adds more load to it. Google is keen on showing domains like these. So just be aware of it. And your website might need to do a UI grade.
