It's day one!
Have to confess, this is not my first go at coding but I do plan on sticking with it this time.
Will be using IH to document my journey and to keep me accountable.
All encouragement is welcome as is any offer of mentorship.
If there is anyone out there who is also on this journey and would like to partner up and keep each other accountable, please, do not hesitate to reach out!
WILT (What I Learned Today)
*I'm following a Traversy media Heroku clone tutorial on YouTube (he's AMAZING btw. Definitely recommend.)
How `align-items` and `justify-content` work in flex. How to use `::before` and `::after` pseudo selectors (they are so cool!) The magical awesomeness of `transform`, `skew`, `rotate` and `translate`.
I also learnt to be mindful of what I type. Wrote
hi instead of
h1. Didn't take me too long to find the bug but it could have been so much worse.
It took me close to two hours to build just the navbar and hero section (took Brad less than 30mins) but hey, I did it.
I'll deploy the entire thing on netlify when it's finally done and put a link here.
Well, that's it guys.
It was a good code day and a good #Day001.
Till 'morrow y'all.
