This afternoon I was doing my regular content strategy while browsing Instagram on my web browser. I wanted to refer some hashtags in one of my old posts, so went back and clicked on it as usual to check the caption.
For a second, the design felt good even though every element was in place. But being a designer myself, I quickly realized Instagram had updated their interface on browsers!
Now it's more curvy (as opposed to old boxy design) and the content column on right side looks a lot neater than before. I can't imagine how many times I had this questions as to why Instagram has kept the design so sharp.
Even the most subtle and smallest changes can make the user experience a lot better! It depends a lot on identifying where these changes are truly required and making them happen.
