I can't find anything on this topic. What is the difference between these two features? Does the Join button show me content on the homepage and subscribe send emails?
There should be a tooptip that appears on hover explaining what they do
I am new to this platform, so not sure if you are talking about this website or in general.
But what I could find from searching online in the dictionary.
Subscribe = "to pledge, as by signing an agreement, to give or pay as a contribution, gift, or investment"
Join = "To become united, associated, or combined: participate.
I would consider in them to pretty much be the same thing. The line is quite blurry between them, and I have seen the word "join" used in regards to newsletters and vice versa
Ahh, I see, well I'm not all too familiar with how everything works yet.
When I joined though there was the page asking if I wanted to "SUBSCRIBE" to some newsletters.
So my guess is that subscribe is used only in correlation with newsletters and join in joining a community or @TeamIH in general.
Here’s the post where this was asked before:

I meant specifically to this site. I think that subscribe must just send emails or something
