Discover! creators building awesome things

A week ago I started a daily newsletter to support creators via Buy Me A Coffee.

Today I launched Discover! which lets you see a random project and the creator who built it. Most creators have a BMC link that you can use to support them.

I've got 100 projects so far but I'm hoping to add a lot more over the next few weeks.

The site itself is built with Carrd. There's an embed for some custom styling, one for the code and another that is the iframe and the bar that sits above the iframe.

The code makes a request to Integromat to grab a random project from a Google Sheet.

One interesting thing I did was used Carrd to create the coffee and next buttons and put them in their own section. I then used code to move them into the header that appears above the iframe. It's a neat trick that lets me style them in Carrd but still use them in a custom embed.
