Do I need a landing page for a mobile app?

I already build a few mobile apps published on GooglePlay with descriptions and screenshots but have felt that the store page doesn't give that effect as a landing page. So I would like to ask your opinion on this

One thing I might be start missing in the near feature is the PressKit option. If that could be a separate page or just a link at the top where I could add a link to the dropbox folder it doesn’t matter much. Maybe there is a way now, I didn’t try it yet, still in progress of writing it.
