Do you accept cryptocurrency for your business?

I am just wondering if anyone here accepts cryptocurrency for their business.

It has been on my list to add it as one of my payment modes and would like to know what has worked for anyone that is using it or has used it

Definitely planning this for Portabella. Ideally the major ones like Bitcoin and Ether but also private ones like ZCash and Monero.

Need to sort out legal side as well as figure out a provider or system for listening on deposits to an address.

I’m in the middle of adding cryptocurrency payment support. I’m using bitpay as the processor since it seemed like one of the cleaner options to be able to support crypto payments but also protect myself as a business and not needing to host anything involved with payments myself.

I'm basically accepting everything per special request currently, including crypto.

Though, unless your business is in a tech niche or a very privacy-minded one, it won't be useful to implement it. When we accepted crypto for our school's yearbook, no one used it (out of 100 purchases).

Not yet, but plan to implement it as soon as possible ;)

Yes, I am accepting bitcoin and I'm in the email SMTP service business, and yes it has worked great for me, would recommend 10/10

    Buy SMTP with Bitcoin

No, doing so also alters you image, so I'd say it depends what the product is. I'd say you definitely can have costumers who use your product specifically only due to you supporting Bitcoin.

Good idea, this type of payment is going to become more and more common. I suggest you watch lightning network. It's a layer on top of Bitcoin that allows you to manage transactions more easily.

I don't mean this to sound blunt, but there's probably 1,000 more important things to sort out than offering crypto payments.

For most markets, I see no reason to accept cryptocurrency. Last I checked, the UX is fairly bad for payments and it really isn't mainstream.
