Do you have trouble maintaining list of content to consume?

Problem
With so much content all around - it becomes overwhelming to not only consume content but to maintain list of relevant resources you want to go through across mediums. For example, I use:

Pocket for articles
Spotify for saving podcasts
Goodreads for books
Youtube Play later for videos

Each time i go through different apps figuring out what to consume next and before I know it, its time to sleep :D

Solution
My idea is to build an app or website where all your saved content is available - sorted not only by medium (podcast, course etc) but by category (professional, travel etc). People can keep adding their content with one click when they come across something - system automatically takes some values while asks users to fill in others.
Additionally to solve problem for content overload, system will decide only to give a pre-determined time's worth of content chosen from saved lists so that you dont enter decision paralysis on what to go through.

PS: Also looking for help to build this out if someone is interested :)

I keep lists of content all over the place - bookmarks, Twitter bookmarks, Notion, Podcasts, etc. The thing is, most things I save, I don't actually care enough to go back and read them later. If they were interesting enough, I would have read them when I saw them.

Generally, I go through all of those lists every few weeks when I'm bored and delete 90%, skim through 5%, and leave 5%. For me personally, not a huge problem and wouldn't be willing to spend money on something to help with this.

Thanks for the feedback Connor. Had a follow-up question: Generally do you consume content as and when you come across it or just save stuff when you come across something interesting and read it later at a dedicated time?

Depends on the media. Articles I read right then or lose interest later. Podcasts I download right away so they're in my podcatcher. Books I bookmark and they sit a list for months. I rarely dedicate a specific time to reading saved content, just usually do it when I have spare time or have a question and want to do some research.
