Hi guys,
I'm just looking into what sort of services you could offer your Newsletter readers, I have heard of some people organising meet-ups and AMAs for their readers to try to convert some to paid subscribers.
I'd love to know if this is something you have done or if this is something you are planning to do?
That's a great idea. My newsletter is all about events and virtual experience.
I should definitely make the first event :) Thanks @mooraage
Yes you should Felix!
I think it would be a great way to grow the product too!
I haven't hosted meet-ups and AMAs, but I have once done member matching for free (for my newsletter BrainPint)
Cool! Are you thinking of doing it in the future? If you are, then what would you be looking for it to produce (KPIs)?
I’ve polled my readers but they didn’t seem interested in it yet! So we’ll see :)
Yep, we're going meetups and accountability groups. Will soon be adding expert sessions and workshops. These are only for paid community members though, wouldn't be feasible to host for the whole newsletter.
You can see a bit about it here if that's helpful? :)

That's really helpful Monica!
I'm working on a product that sort of helps optimise the KPIs for these types of Q&A streams. Please check it out here: https://newny.io - join the waiting list if you like it :)
I host weekly and small meetups.
I also provide a knowledgebase (via Notion).
Others like (Lenny's newsletter) provide a community via the likes of Slack.
Awesome, thank you!
