Do you think this Checkout page would do well?

Hola IndieHackers,

On my homepage I have a button called “grab the deal” and by clicking on it, you’ll land on this page:

https://kingmailer.co/checkout/

Now, would this page do well? Please be nice 🥺

I am selling Transactional SMTP services. (SMTP service but dedicated to high inbox emails like registration, password reset emails or e-commerce emails).

Your feedback is much appreciated 👊

There are a LOT of things that can be improved here. I'll list up the ones that jump out at me...

    • The word "Checkout" doesn't need to punch you in the face. It's not at all the important part.
    • You should have buttons instead of the "Buy now" text. People look for and expect buttons, don't break that by trying to be minimal.
    • You should remove the comments, blog stuff, and other navigation from the bottom. You don't want things distracting from the purpose of the page which is to drive conversions.

Some overall design things you might want to address...

    • You're wasting a fair bit of space above the header/nav. That vertical "above the fold" screen real estate is supremely valuable, don't waste it.
    • I get that you're going for a minimalist aesthetic, but you may be pushing a bit too far. Some other gray shades here and there to differentiate sections could certainly be helpful.
    • You have multiple instances of headlines with only the first word capitalized. This is not wrong per se, but it's certainly unconventional.
    • Your "Have questions?" section is next to impossible to read. At the very least increase the spacing after an answer and before the next question. It would help to indent the answer a bit too to better differentiate them.
    • Don't allow comments on pages that don't warrant it. You don't need them on your Pricing page or your Checkout page.
    • You have a "Sign up" page that looks like your Login page. What does that do since somebody hasn't paid?
    • The Login (and Sign up) pages look nothing like the rest of the site. There's barely even the product name on there.

Anyway, that's what I got after spending 2-3 minutes poking around. Best of luck with it!

Hello, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated, I've gone ahead and implented some you mentioned.

      • I have removed the Checkout text from that page.
      • Buttons... not yet, but am looking into this. For now still text :/
      • The comment section, removed, it was there though, because for some users it was easier to leave a question this way

Some other points you mentioned and will look further into this...

      • space above header
      • color codes
      • header capitalization
      • have questions readability
      • design of sign up/login page

It looks like a product page to me, I would also make sure to remove the blog parts on these pages (comment, "Published 16 December 2019").
I see that you support Bitcoin payments for subscriptions too, I'm working on a solution to make these a lot more convenient for both users and merchants, maybe I could show it to you when deploying it in the coming weeks?

Hello, the blog part was there because its convenient for some users to contact us, but I have removed it (for now), to see if this has any further impact.

Regarding to Bitcoin payments, I'm happy with my current provider, but if you need me to do testing/feedback, you can always contact me.

    Hi Navin,

I think you need to put more accent on the box where user can put payment information in. Right now cards with plan pricing overshadow it and you need people to go through with the payment. There is also a lot of empty space at the top that makes it longer to reach the section you want people to really look at.

    Hope this helps!

I've made some changes, we'll see how this goes...

Hello, if I understand correctly, you’re saying is to test by moving the Buy now box more to the top?
