Do you timebox all new features when develop your indie project?

In big companies, we are often asked to provide estimations on each feature.

As an indie developer work on your own project, do you guys chose to have estimations on each feature and also timebox all the solution spikes?

No, I just to work on one feature a day. The estimate serves no purpose, big companies need it for launch date / release and marketing strategy maybe. As an indie, I don't care. If it's going to a day to do, it's going to a day. The same thing that holds true at big corp holds, you don't know what you don't know and sometimes the simplest thing takes the most time. I spent all weekend working on something that I figured would take an hour. Then I have had wins where I thought it would take lots of hours and I do it in less than an hour.
