Do you understand my new landing page msg?

"next best" means not good enough to me

    1. 1

      I removed "best" though...

I always have issues with copy,...

    2. 1

I'd try to fit the benefit into that hero CTA:

Launch your MVP in minutes (smaller text: with Wicked Templates).

Also, "you've got the idea, I've got the framework" is the only time you say "I". It's ok to be personal, but's its the only time you do.

  2. 3

Not sure “next best project” sounds right. It reads clumsily to me.

Why not just “launch your next project....”

    1. 1

Does, it sounds weird? I will have to read it again.

Is the thing, when English is not my native language.

      Thanks for the tip.

  3. 2

The design looks stunning! As a brand designer I would suggest you improving your logo. You have kerning issues and it can't work in small sizes (favicon for example). Also, if that's just a regular font anyone can download and use, you have another set of issues.

    1. 1

      Hey domz,

Is just plain text, I have a logo here.

On the logo I am using inter and document is using Geomanist.

      1. 1

Can't access that website you commented. What would you like to change regarding the logo?

  4. 2

Do you plan creating a blog?

    1. 1

A blog? Do you mean a template? If so, yes I am.

  5. 2

It looks cool. It's proving templates for startups.

  6. 2

Not sure, but I think you offer react elements to build a website

    1. 1

nope, but almost, not react. In fact, the only thing I use is Tailwind.

It is compatible with react though.

  7. 2

I’m in the market for a template but I can’t see many examples on your site. Where are they buddy?

    1. 1

hey primer, I am working on them actually.
      this is the free one:

this is what I am working on right now.

      and it includes:

Is made Tailwind and Alpine.js for the navbar and is 100% responsive.

I am exactly now working on this one.

if it suits you, you can test it if you want to just hit me up on Twitter.

  8. 2

My first impression feedback: I would like to see an example right away. It is very dark and for some reason I can't get myself to try to understand it. (I'm not your target group so that might be why)

    1. 1

      hey jopha!

      still working on them...

this is what I am working on right now.

      and it includes:

Is made Tailwind and Alpine.js for the navbar and is 100% responsive.

      Is meant to be dark.

  9. 2

The design looks amazingly good ! Well done.

I would say that the first big text is a bit long. And I don't understand straight away if the target is : developers, project managers, etc. You probably need to refine it a little bit

    1. 1

      do you mean this one?

Launch your next best project with Wicked Templates.

      Maybe I could shorten it.

  10. 2

I need to see the templates faster (on the landing page) to maintain interest.

    1. 1

would it work a link on the navbar to with the text. all templates?

otherwise, I am working on them

this is what I am working on right now.

      and it includes:

Is made Tailwind and Alpine.js for the navbar and is 100% responsive.

  11. 2

I like your style! Seems pretty clear to me what it's about, although the compatible with icons could be made more easy to read. Had to physically move closer to my screen to recognize the Ruby icon.

    1. 1

oh really? I could remove the filter and let them be with their own color.

      1. 1

Cool, I noticed you placed the names under the icons, looks a lot better!

  12. 2

I understand it, but where are the templates? 😅

You need clear images of the templates you're selling, at least. A live preview would be optimal though.

Nonetheless, the design is really good looking.

    1. 1

I am still working on them though. I have one template up, but is just as a placeholder, though is a real template.
      they are here:

this is what I am working on right now.

      and it includes:

Is made Tailwind and Alpine.js for the navbar and is 100% responsive.

  13. 2

One recommendation I have is maybe it is a bit too dark? This is just a matter of personal opinion. Checkout for examples of dark gradients that might ease up on the contrast a bit. I feel like the super dark background makes the website very "heavy". Not quite sure how to word it.

    1. 1

I completely understand you. Well I am trying to bring the feeling of "synthwavish" 80s. I am aware it doesn't look very 80s, because is modern...maybe Tron?

I know what you mean with heavy thought.

I like uigradients, but I did my own site.

I have used Lawrenceium many times from ui gradients....great stuff.

        1. 2

Considering your experience, could you take a look at my landing page and let me know what you think? . I would love your feedback!

          1. 1

            i got it!

            here is your feedback.

That was a great blue and very well done with the shadows.

          2. 1

sure thing! Let me see that.

        2. 1

I remember seen the blue grid, but the red one is superb!

  14. 2

Mike, I think the new design looks awesome! It is very elegant and modern. 👏

The content is all there, but maybe you could (under the "Compatible with") section have a label with a short description for each of the technologies (VueJS, React, Tailwind and so on).

Overall, it's great. Just keep getting more feedback and fine-tune this landing page to increase conversion rates. 📈

    Best of luck!

    1. 2

@Michael_Andreuzza, on "the view all templates page", I would remove the arrows for going through the templates, make them a bit less wide and try to fit 2 per row.

      1. 1

What do you mean exactly? If you mean the card with the image is the card for only one template....
( if we are talking about the same)

I am nothing to have 100or 50 templates, so the scroll won't be huge..

        1. 1

Yes, that is right. Just don't make the card so huge. And don't make buttons do see each of the pages. It's too complicated. If you want to show different pages in one thumbnail, use Themesberg as an example.

Hope this helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

          1. 1

Oh, yeah. I have seen that, is very clever but I won't copy it.

            1. 1

Btw, there are times when it's okay to copy others.

These are one of those times 😉

As long as you're striving to make it better than the original, then by all means go ahead.

              1. 1

                sorry man..fell asleep last night.

aint gonna copy them. but thanks fr the tip .

                1. 1

No problem. And btw you wouldn’t be copying them.

Pretty much every template site does this. The all do it differently.

                  Anyways, best of wishes :D

    2. 1

I could actually write the names, right?

I had it before, when I first made it, bit I am going to point them to the docs.

      1. 1

        Yes, I think that's a good idea. 👍

  15. 2

    Hello everyone,

So I have been redesigning and this is the result. In fact, I am changing strategy, instead to make website wireframes, I will be making real templates, only with Tailwind.

Would love to know what you guys think.

Thank you and have a great day!

  16. 1

From my experience of building my product ruttl, I think you have done a fabulous job at designing your landing page.

The content, though, seems slightly difficult to understand. Although it's aimed for a technical audience, I would suggesting conveying the message in more layman terms.

  17. 1

Launch your next best project with Wicked Templates. - but wait, why should I? :) Build your MVP and landing pages in minutes, not hours -> is interesting catching sentence.

Overall, I like your design and I think others made really good comments!

    1. 1

      yeah, really enjoying the comments.

      is interesting catching sentence.

You mean there's room fro improvement?

  18. 1

Damn ur landing pages look sick...what do you use for design..???

    1. 1

Do you mean what do I make them with?

I use Tailwind then I prototype on the browser

Thank you for this comment it made my day.

      1. 1

I mean where do you get inspiration for the design..

what is "Tailwind theno prototype" I have used tailwind css for a toy project but never heard of this ??

        1. 1

For inspiration, all around I look at many websites.

Then I put my own style.

Theno is nothing I meant, Then I.

There's something called Tailwind.config.js on Tailwind project, if you dont make use of it I would.

            1. 1

              You welcome mate.

reach out on twitter if I can help.
