Do you want to hire Intern for $1/hour?

Hi, I'm Aria from KodingWorks. We are providing engineer and designer on demand starting just $5/hour. We provide flutter, laravel, node.js, react.js, and android (kotlin) engineers. We also provide UI/UX Designer (mostly using figma).

We also want our Vocational High School/University Students to have experience how to work in global company. We have taught them how to code and collaborate using git, most of them already familiar with Agile (because they have already intern with us). We are using clockify to track the work time.

The rate $1/hour is the minimum wage in our city. You only need to pay the rate, if you think it's worth it. We want to bring opportunity to many remote areas in Indonesia. What do you think? Are you interested?

    What’s the business plan here?
    What’s the guarantee?
How will that be a win-win?

The idea seems interesting, the rate seems too low. Many questions arise.

Hi Geniium, the business plan is after they have enough experience, we could up the rate to minimum $5/hour. We take 20% cut from the rate. Right now most of our students need more experience than money.

The guarantee is you only need to pay when you satisfied, you could request talent change immediately. In our city, most of intern are unpaid intern, even minimum wage alone ($1/hour) is very good enough for the students here.

How will that be a win-win?
I think the startup/company could spend less money, but you need to share your onboarding procress and tech requirement standard to us, so we could train and prepare the student before they could join your team. Like I said before, we need experience for our students than money right now.
