Does what you are currently working on really make a customer product?

Let's start to describe on the comment. Everyone should ask yourself it question. I found it on Rework book.

    I just launched https://list.app
Here is what I had in response to questions someone asked me.

    • Who are you and why are you the best person to make this app?
My name is Kamal and I've been in IT in one form or another all my working life. A long time ago I had an idea to build this type of a social list app but I didn't have the skills. I shared the idea with other people who had the skills and might be interested in building it. Alas, no takers. Last year, when the pandemic starts, I left my job to start working on building this app. I took some online classes on Javascript and VueJS as well as watching a bunch of YouTube tutorials. I started building the app and increasing my knowledge and skill (GraphQL, Mongo, server admin (NGINX), etc) as I went.

    • Who is your user and why do they need this app?
This app is designed for anyone who likes to create lists and would like to share them with others. It's also designed for people who like to discover new things but have difficulty in keeping track of those new discoveries. By allowing people to adopt lists and list items, we help people share interesting items and allow others to adopt those items to more easily track them.

    • What is the pain they are facing? How do you solve that pain?
Currently, sharing lists online is not an easy task. Sure, people can create a simple list and share it on social media sites but if someone only finds a subset of the list interesting, it means they have to keep track of the things that don't interest them. By allowing users to only pick things they find interesting and create their own lists from other lists, they can only track and share what is interesting to them.

    • Wow moment.
When a user discovers one or more list (e.g. Top Ten Destinations in Europe and another list Top Ten Destinations in Asia) and is able to create their own list (e.g. Places to visit on my world tour) easily that is a subset of the most iteresting list items from other lists.

    • Market opportunity
Since the basic app will be free to all users, revenue could be generated from sponsored lists (e.g. a food items company might create a list of recipes using food items they produce as ingredients), which people can adopt into their own lists (subset of the recipes they'd be iterested in trying.)
