Does Working Remotely Suck?

Hello hackers👋,

I'd like to acknowledge the clickbait title and Apologies in advance.

Working as a freelance developer/hacker over the past year has come to be quite lonely. After coming from a big company, we felt like there were many perks of being around a diverse number of like-minded people that were missing🔎. As great as remote work sounds, the reality is that we humans are social creatures and we learn and grow from one another. Many of the office rituals and traditions that perpetuated this growth did not exist besides your kitchen table. Things like Lunch n’ learns, standups, and even the spontaneous desk visits were things that we found ourselves longing for while working remotely. 🖥

💥 My cofounder Kacper and I are on a mission to improve the virtual work environment and make it better for our fellow entrepreneurs. We think that there are ideas that we can borrow from the office way of working and bring them to the remote world.

We want to share our ideas with you on how we can make remote entrepreneurship better but we want to get your raw ideas first. 💫 If you are an indie hacker/freelancer and this sounds like a mission you resonate with, we would love to ask you a few questions and poke you for some ideas. Please comment below if you are interested in answering a few questions. ✍

Your fellow indie hackers,
Chris & Kacper
