Don't sell me a hand drill.

"Customers don't want to buy a quarter-inch drill, they want a quarter-inch hole" as that is the end result they are looking for.

However, that end-result doesn't necessarily "sell" given the means of what it will take to accomplish the desired end-result.

And, it's the means, the time involved, the user experience, etc, in addition to the end result that weigh into total customer satisfaction.

I am never buying a hand drill. But, I will buy a reliable, precision, reasonably priced power drill.

Are you trying to sell hand drills?
