DuckDuckGo passed 100 million daily searches for the first time

I wish it was as good as Google, but I often find I have to repeat my query on Google, and that the results are often substantially better.

💡Tip: So often in fact, that DuckDuckGo has a shortcut to switch to Google! Add “g!” the start of the query bar and it’ll redirect to Google quickly for you, without having to re-type the search query.

I believe in the privacy mission, but if you’re not practical in business, those who are, may beat you. Cant wait till it improves, I’d even pay.

Am I the only one who has to triple check when I write duckduckgo? The wrong letter could open an adult site...

I'm a big fan of Duck, the search quality is about as good as Google.

I do love the concept, but sometimes I have to go back to google for searching issues related to software engineering.

Any advice or help for this?

Their backend is Bing API. I find Bing results to be as good or better than Google's in many cases.
