Dynamic Event Signup Options?

Is there not a better solution than signupGenius for signing up for slots on an event?

I love Typeform and Tripetto, but I want a certain number of positions available to be signed up for. And then, for example, when someone signs up for the Thursday noon slot, it's no longer available.

That Signup Genius site does exactly that type of thing, it just seems very un-elegant.

Ideas?

I mostly see EventBrite and Evite out there in the wild. Is there something else you are trying to figure out?

Yeah, those are all great for sending invites to things and RSVP'ing. The use case I have is for creating a calendar of events with slots for people to signup for that event. But that allows for only one signup per slot. So, all the tools I've found break when I try to find a way to limit the signups to 1 and then mark that slot as full.

      Make sense?

I may be missing some simple functionality too..

I kinda get what you are saying but maybe a simple made up story would help get the idea across. Like: Sam wants people to sign up for his virtual pottery class......

So, Sam wants people in his class to signup to teach once a week. Each week, there's a slot for one teacher, and he wants one person per slot to be able to signup to teach.

Ok gotcha. Is this for a school setting in general or was that just an example. What's a use case you have in mind?

No, it's a non-profit org here that has a rotating meeting chairperson. Not a huge pain point tbh, but the lack of an easy
fix had me scratching my head.

Yeah I mean I think try to figure out killer use cases. This reminds me a lot of Doodle but just a slightly different use case. If you could integrate a calendar invite based on what someone picks, that would be cool.
