Hey, I've been working on an e-book to help beginner/intermediate software developers track their personal finances using Python. Here's a link: https://personalfinancespython.com/
I just finalized its landing page (well, at least the first version which I feel comfortable sharing in the public).
Would love to get some feedback on it. Generally interested in knowing if the page can catch developers' interest, any piece of text that's unclear or that I should elaborate more on, any information I missed, etc. Please note that a "sample PDF" link is in the works.
Thank you!
Nice a fellow Munich Indie Hacker!
Looks good. To be honest I needed some minutes to understand what this is about. If it is a book explaining you how to develop your journal or are you giving me a journal.
I am not sure if you need the opt-in checkbox because I am already opting in with entering the email address. I always add double opt-in because I think that is really mandatory if not everybody can enter my e-mail address in there.
And I didn't receive an e-mail after opting in.
My 2 cents :)
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the term "workflow" is a bit open-ended. I just pushed a change that (hopefully) makes it a bit more clear!
Regarding the checkbox/double opt-in, you make a good point. I'll set it up this week!
bulletpoints explaining the content (ex. connecting to your bank's API using Plaid) of the book would be cool
Just pushed a change with some bullet points!
Very cool idea for a book, I'm interested. I signed up. I hate to say this but I really have no feedback on the landing page. I think it's great as is. Hopefully someone else can help.
Thank you (for the positive feedback and for signing up!)
