Our party game, Republic of Jungle, is on Kickstarter now! Thank you for inspiring me.

Hello everyone,

First time posting, but I've been a podcast listener and lurker for a few years now. My friends and I quit our software engineering jobs at Microsoft and Twitch to work on this game more than a year ago. This community was one of the sources of inspiration and courage for me to do this, especially with overcoming the fear of running a live service.

It's a social deduction party game with hidden roles and secret mechanics (like Secret Hitler and Among Us) but players use their own device as controllers (like Jackbox Party Packs). You can entertain 5 to 10 players whether they are in a room together, or remotely in a chat app like Zoom, and our unique selling points are packing more convenience and gameplay (friction-less fun) in a shorter amount of time.

Throughout the past year, we've incrementally improved the game and built a community around it. We are now in closed beta aiming to release in Q1 2022. It's been an incredible journey, and we're hoping to see it through to the finish line.

We launched our Kickstarter today hoping to raise funds and awareness. If it sounds interesting to you, please check it out and share it with friends:

I'll be happy to answer any questions about the product or the process.

Cheers,

Congrats on your Kickstarter launch, @moeinpy!

I am no expert on product launches but I would like to share some case studies that I believe can help you:

    ---

    1. Priming your users before a big launch
-> These two founders managed to raised $322,695 from 6,531 backers within 28 hours of their Kickstarter launch by getting their users on their waitlist excited befoe the big launch. I think you can relate to this as you've already build up a community of your own.

    2. The Power of Pre-Orders -> Check out how this founder launched to over $10k in sales over just 3 days using some simple strategies.

    3. Losing money to ensure a successful first launch -> This founder shared how "losing some money to ensure a successful first launch" helped him to over $25,000 in sales.

    Cheers & all the best!
