Family History App

I have an idea for an app where a certain family can record their family events and even add their ancestor's history through images / stories (like blog posts) / videos

From a UX perspective, it can look like a long horizontal timeline with highlights.

This came from when my dad died and I heard stories about him from other people and I wanted to record them somehow and stored somewhere that my kids and grandkids can see.
