Feedbacky.io is changed!

Sometime ago I posted the first version of https://feedbacky.io/ that was focused on users feedback. After many feedback and suggestions I changed it to be more focused on companies and help them to get the right roadmap. (Maybe you have to do a hard refresh on the page because I'm using the same domain :D)

Did you like the design? Did you like to use the app? Your thoughts, feedback and suggestions are really appreciate.

Thanks!

agreed with comments, maybe for MVP will be good just video how it looks on website, always better than nothing

Thanks, I'll improve the copy on site and try to improve the product exhibition.

You could show some more product screenshots - for instance, what does setting up a survey look like, where and how do I see the results and history of what features users have clicked on? If I saw a sleek looking product that showed how easy it was to set up I'd get a better picture of what the experience was going to be like, rather than hitting sign up without the full picture.

    Hope that's helpful!

      Thanks, I'm working on that.

The site looks pretty nice, great job!

A live demo would be a great addition.
I thought that the "What do you like to see in our platform?" section is where I can see it in action, but after clicking little hearts under "Provide a REST API" it does nothing.

If you already have active clients, adding some user testimonials would be great as well.

Hi @dszabo thanks for the comment and sorry about the missed behaviour. There was a bug but now it is fixed. Do you would like to try it again?

It works now. Thanks for the fix!
Next feature request: I can't revoke my vote (accidental click, etc.), but it would be nice.
        Keep up the good work!

Very nice clean look, but lot of problems in content:

.. No dog-fooding: Your tool is about collecting user feedback, but i cannot send feedback about your tool using your tool (at least not straight from the landing page). I don't know of any other feedback tool that does not prominently, even exaggeratedly, use its own tool..

.. No screenshots: so i don't really know what this tool would look like.

.. Unclear functionality: when the name is "Feedbacky" I'd except website feedback tool with "send feedback" button, but your description says "create survey" which is very different, and your post here says "more focused on finding right roadmap", which is vague. So in the end i'm actually not sure what your tool really does.

.. Idea is heavily competed: I'd expect something about your unique selling point, why you are better, how you are different etc.

.. Idea may be faulty: it may be better not to allow easy one-click feedback or feature voting, because then every random dude clicks around and you spend your life implementing roadmap from random clicks. If there is more effort involved in voting for features, then only the more dedicated users who really want those features will take the effort to vote for them.

.. No pricing: your tool requires some time-investment (setup and "injecting code") and it is not clear if you can export roadmap and existing votes, so before commiting to use your tool most users want to know the future pricing. I know the importance of this because we haven't decided our pricing and thus our own product (https://BugJail.com) doesn't show pricing either, and that really hurts conversion rates.

Hope this helps & best of luck

No dog-fooding: We are using the tool on "What do you want next" section on website but unfortunately it as buggy but now it is fixed.

      No screenshots: Working on that.

Unclear functionality, Idea is heavily competed: I have to work on this as well.

Idea may be faulty: Using our platform you can identify the users if you want to avoiding this case you described but I have to make this more clear on website I guess.

No pricing: I have no idea on how to put I price on this since I don't have many users. Maybe does it makes more sense after some time our user engagement?

Thanks a lot for this full and specific feedback.

Nice! Is it different to canny/nolt?

Thanks, I didn't know these tools before, I'll take a look on that.

I agree with all the other comments.

At the bottom you "What would you like to see in our product". The mouse cursor changes to a hand when mousing over the "hearts" so I assume that is the way to upvote (might want the option of text or heart for the button) but when I click nothing happens. I definitely feel you need to use your product yourself and it needs to work.

I do like your embed/API functionality. I learned about Upvoty, I think on IH as well, but I do not want to send my users to another domain or away from my site just for user feedback.

Hi @Lakebed_io thanks for the comment and sorry about the missed behaviour. There was a bug but now it is fixed. Do you would like to try it again?

I didn't know about the Upvoty and I'll take a look on it.
