FeedBaxley: Widget for soliciting web visitor feedback

Hi!

My name's Jon, and I've been working on FeedBaxley with a few friends for awhile now, and we'd love to hear your feedback.

The idea is to provide a super easy way to create a widget for soliciting feedback from your web visitors, and then to organize the feedback in a helpful, actionable way on the backend.

Please check it out and let me know what you think: https://feedbaxley.com

Here's the pitch from Product Hunt, which I'd also love feedback on for future promotions:

Talk to your users to figure out what's frustrating before they churn or even discover that next feature that'll help you break into new markets.
⚡️Incredibly easy to set up, copy & paste
🎨 Customize to match your brand.

A friend of mine founded bugherd.com some years ago. They’ve written a lot about their journey, which is valuable insight for any founder.

Oh neat! That does seem relevant to our interests, thanks :)

The product seems quite simple right now. It's very similar to feedbackfish.

How long did it take your team to build this? Are you guys full time on it?

The product is a great concept but how do plan to expand and uniquely compete with others in the space?

Thanks for the feedback! We are striving for simplicity while enabling flexibility for people to be able to ask their users what they want to know, how they want to ask it.

I hadn't seen feedback fish actually, but I do love their landing page! It's nice and comprehensive, walking you through the installation steps.

Our main differentiator will continue to be the focus on simplicity while enabling customization. We just added the option to customize how the widget trigger shows up (a pinned tab, a link, or an inline form). We still have work to do for simplifying the interface for configuring the widget, but maximum ease of use is the current goal.

Keeping that as the baseline will enable us to add future enhancements like adding screenshots to feedback submissions, NLP for enterprise clients, etc, while still being accessible for every website operator everywhere.

Like the site. Since you also have a Slack extension, the Slack app store could be a good initial acquisition channel :)

Thanks! Yup, we're listed in the Slack app store :)
