Finally started building my MVP

Hey folks! I've been on IndieHackers for ages, but haven't got round to doing anything about it ... until now.

Instead of planning and building an MVP which will give me a nice pension, I've been working on my Canvas library - Scrawl-canvas. It's a great library but, as free software, it doesn't help keep a roof over my head or put food on the table.

Well, things need to change. I've decided to monetise my work by building a Studio - a web-based GUI for creating canvas animations and videos using Scrawl-canvas.

My vision for the Studio is for a website which allows users to create and tweak animations and videos - a little bit like Adobe's Animate and/or After Effects, but with a simple workflow and as-close-to-zero running costs as I can manage.

Most of the Studio will be free-to-use; my cunning plan is to offer subscriptions for access to tools that make the process easier, and to allow users to collaborate on a project. I'm thinking of setting the subscription cost to £10/month (with big discounts for early adopters).

At that price, I'll need 100 subscribers to bring in £1,000/month - which is not only do-able, but also a nice little pension to help keep my home cozy and warm!
