First Newsletter Project - A Weekly Email For Busy Parents

Hi guys,

I just wanted to share what my wife and I have been working on for the past month. It'd be great to get your unfiltered thoughts and feedback!

We are very proud parents of 2-year-old twins. It's been an exhilaratingly positive rollercoaster of an experience so far, however, we've oftentimes felt on the back foot when it comes to development milestones & activities.

So, we decided to create The Playpen. Each week we dig out the latest, most interesting content for parents of toddlers from the web and social media, mix in some useful original articles, and send it out in a content-packed email. We hope it will help parents like us stay on top of their game!

The landing page really looks nice, but I don't see a benefit stated for the parents. Except "useful articles, fun ideas". Have you thought about making this more specific? Maybe provide a useful article headline or a fun idea right on the front page, so they get a 'taste' of what they'll be getting.

EDIT: Just replace 'scroll down to see the latest edition' with an actual link that brings people to that edition. Google: "link within a page".

Good suggestion! I should probably make that link more prominent too.

Come to think of it, I might install Hotjar as I'm interested to know how many people actually see the current edition and ultimately whether that affects the chance of conversion. I currently have an 8% conversion rate, so perhaps can improve that.

      Thanks 🙏
