First paying customer! 🎉 On to #2

Just got my first paying customer for Let Them Eat 🍰! It feels so good to see an active subscription in the Stripe dashboard and the metrics show real numbers instead of fake test data.

Since some people will ask how I found this customer, it's not a super interesting story. My day job company used a similar product and I built LTE🍰to be a competitor and do things a little differently. The first customer is my current boss!

It's good to have the motivation that real money brings though and everything that comes with that.

Ninja Edit:
Something broke during signup too! A little hiccup, but I had forgotten to save the Stripe customer portal settings for my live data. Wouldn't be a good product launch without a small 🔥

In case anyone is actually reading these things, do you "cold call" users for your SaaS projects? What have been your experiences with Twitter @ mentions/DMs? What are your favorite channels for getting eyes on the product? I'm looking into Product Hunt but I don't feel like the app is polished enough for that elevated attention.

While I work on that polish, I'll also be looking for customer #2 🍰
