First Video Recording Complete!

Hey everyone, my co-founder Ziev and I are documenting our journey from no code newbies to full-fledged indie hackers (🤞)

We really are starting out with the basics though...currently we're getting to grips with Notion as we'll be using is as our project management tool. I've never used anything like it before, so I'm documenting as I learn!

Here's our first ever video, which shows how to use emojis in Notion.

We'll likely be creating a YouTube channel and other social media channels to share this stuff as we go.

Feedback is very much welcomed!

I just started using Notion a week ago and this was a very helpful tip! I like the short format as well. It didn't impact this video but I think having your picture in picture face on the right of the screen is better than the left since it is blocking the navigation. Just my preference. I look forward to more videos.

That's a really good point - totally didn't realise about the face thing. Thanks for the feedback!

I love this format of very short videos that explains how to do one thing.

Awesome, thank you. I was worried it was too short, but didn't feel like it merited a longer one!

Awesome stuff! Since you're on Windows, you may benefit from Cinematic Studio (https://cinematicstudio.app) - shameless plug :D I would say you're right up my alley, since I'm targeting beginning youtubers.

Just in case you decide to use it, let me know if there's anything missing, and I'll do my best to help :)

    Good luck!

Thanks for the recommendation. Do you have a free trial available? We're weighing up whether to learn editing skills or have someone else edit them so we can concentrate on creating the content - who knows what we'll actually decide!

        Hi Nelson,
Yes, we're currently in beta, so it's free. We plan to launch on 15th of March (fingers crossed :D), and until then, the app is free .

Congrats! You are doing the right thing building in public. Keep at it, be persistent. Good things will happen as you increase your luck surface area. :)
