The demo of the "Cool App" design in the article is 2.2 MB. Most of this is images, which can be reduced by using lower-res images, compressing the images or using different image file types.
Another of our demo apps, https://nimblepunishment.backendless.app/app/index.html, is half that size at 1.1 MB. So if page file size is a concern of yours, you can definitely take steps to improve it using our platform.
