Food Passport, a way to personalize your eating preferences?

For a while, a family member had a very specific diet for health related issues. One of the most difficult things was finding places where we can go grab some food together. I have created a Chrome Extension that helps with that. It takes restaurant menus online and filters out items based on food preferences. Have you had the same issues? How easy is to find places to eat with a food allergy? With a specific nutritional diet?

Can we embed this food recognition program in our dynamic website? i want to add it in my page of smoker reviews that hosted on WordPress.

This is a very good idea. My sister has a very restrictive diet (allergies) and I think she would appreciate something like this. Anecdotally sometimes she would get a meal and not realise something was in the food that doesn't sit well and pay the price afterwards.

Currently I don't think it's very easy to know what is 'safe', she has just had to learn (memorize) the ingredients to a lot of dishes, and use google when she is not sure. If you could simplify this for her I think she would really appreciate it.

    I hope this helps.

Thats exactly the issues I've found. This might also help people that are following a restrictive(selective) diet like Keto or Paleo.
When I have it polished I'll share it here. Hopefully it might give you and your sister another tool in the toolkit to enjoy a nice meal together.
