Free + Premium plans - determining the appropriate difference and the optimal price

Hey, I've simple pricing on https://podsite.io/plans - and I'm considering if my FREE plan isn't "too good". I offer unlimited traffic, storage space, pages and etc. I want to have enticing free plan to build up large users base and I the plan is that part of them covert later on, when they will need custom domain / custom design / multiple websites and etc.

Is this good plan or not really? How do you determine that? A/B testing? Talking to your free tier users?

  1. 1

You can determine that through getting a strong userbase first and asking them why they're using your service. Dig past 'its free' if you have lots of competitors, because then why did they choose your service?

Unfortunately I know nothing of your competitors or market.
Who are you targeting with the $10 package? What are they currently using, or doing, to manage multiple podcast websites?
