Freelancers, how do you deal with loneliness, lack of mentorship, accountability and benefits?

I am a career entrepreneur and freelancer. I believe being a freelancer or being your own boss is about working on things you actually want to work on, on your own terms.

But like all good things, there are challenges to being a freelancer (or independent professional) and sustaining a free lifestyle. Recently, I decided to solve for these challenges - in order to make the freelancing experience easier, less lonely, stress-free and more rewarding.

Like a virtual workplace that exists to support and empower freelancers in very obvious meaningful ways. We just launched our wailtlist.

Finally, I would love to hear your biggest challenges (e.g., consistent access to high quality projects, lack of favorable to healthcare options etc.) in the comments below.

I used to go to dance classes and do a bunch of hobbies. Nowadays though, things aren't so easy.

I'm thinking of getting 1-on-1 classes until this ends (that are hopefully outdoors, like tennis etc.)

For me, loneliness (at work) especially at times when I am working over 50-60 hours/week and don't have a consistent group of people I can be be open with - has to be the biggest challenge.

That is when I am a member of over a couple of dozen digital communities! And this is totally separate from having a social life outside of work.
