Does your Search Console look like this? I feel your pain and re-did my landing page to address the needs of site owners, SEO experts, and marketers. Let me know if the app and landing page work.
@orliesaurus I tweeted out the video. I learned a lot about the landing page but also from how you used the app. I see a bunch of ways to improve. The one thing I'm happy about is that you thought the core paragraph was good and that the idea was valid.
Hi @timbednar - yeah I think the core of the idea is very good - I find myself stunned every time I log into Google Analytics and I can't figure out what the heck is going on. I believe there are a lot of people like me and that's why there's been a resurgence of tools to address this problem.
How to make the site better for viewers?
What matters that makes me rank better?
Where are people coming from and what do they do?
When people can answer these questions easily without having to dig through hours of "HOW TO ANALYTICS" then you have yourself a winner!
@orliesaurus If you have a sec, I would love it if you took a quick look at my new landing page. I would love to hear your thoughts. https://waterfaller.dev. I have really worked on focusing the message and app to users who do not typically deal with page speed, but because of Core Web Vitals are forced.
This is great, very helpful. But I have to say you really screwed up my release :) as I created a whole bunch of new stories in my backlog now. I'm late for releasing some features -- so I'm doing that before I get an update done to the landing page. Now that I'm looking at the app with more info about the user, I'm finding a whole mess of improvements both to the UX and to the algorithm and to the words and copy that's used in the fixes. If you provide me with some test URLs, I can use them as I tune the algorithm. Let me know.
hey @timbednar I made a video breakdown of the page and some advice here https://youtu.be/fRQjkqBMsAo?t=745
