Get help for your code problems. Fast.

https://www.unblokd.com/
Roast it pls!

But be gentle, I've barely begun work on the front end.

What would convince you to sign up for it?
It solves a problem I've bumped into a lot - getting quick help when I'm stuck with code.

I'm thinking to apply it to other areas of entrepreneurship as well - like when you're stuck with marketing, or with no-code tools.

Would really appreciate feedback!
If you answer make sure to link your project too, I'll leave feedback for it in return!

Hey, I love this. Not sure if there's anything else out there that's similar, but I have long thought there should be. As a software engineer with ADHD I am frequently working on things last minute. When I get stuck in the final hours of a project and I don't have time to get unstuck on my own, this would be amazing.

Think your landing page is pretty clear what the product does and looks good as well. Really like the screenshots.

Curious how the "recurring revenue for solving the same problem" works - maybe could be highlighted/elaborated a little more?

Figuring out pricing will be interesting too!

thanks for the feedback & really glad you like it!

You're right that I should elaborate more on the recurring revenue model. That's a twist of the initial model, right now it's not included in the MVP and I'm trying to decide if it should be included in the public beta. leaning towards shipping it without that functionality, since it adds quite a bit of complexity.

I think the best revenue model is taking a % of the transactions that go through the platform. Codementor takes between 13%-22%, I think that's a bit predatory, I was thinking a flat 5% would be competitive.

I'm also thinking about a credits system but it's not so well defined yet. It would be for companies that want to buy access for their tech employees so they can learn/ get unstuck. Thinking this would be a nice perk (i.e. get 10 dev hours/employee per month to get unstuck as part of the company plan)

This looks really interesting, I would totally use something like this instead of Upwork for small things. This project looks like a blend of StackOverflow / Upwork. Upwork is not bad, the issue is the whole hiring process. Its long and annoying, and then out of 10 devs hired, only 1 is actually any good, unless you go for an agency right off the bat.

I am a dev. And I am lazy, and many times, I would rather just pay someone $100 to get some react or python code working. Small things.

You should keep going with this project, I feel like there needs to be an alternative to the traditional approaches out there now.
