Get "something", "anything", out there

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing this weekend? I have been working about 65 days on my product journey but I have a lot of failures before. This time I am trying to stick to advice from YC, IH, etc instead of my own engineering mindset.

There is something interesting and surprising that I have noticed which I would not have believed otherwise. I actively share the product progress on Pioneer app, IH, ML, PH, Reddit, etc.

Most people comment that the site doesn't look "professional" enough. That it is not pleasing. On a daily basis someone tells me something on the site has bugs. Or the demo does not live up to their expectation, it is "just like PHPMyAdmin". Surprisingly these are the same people who never say they want to actually use the product.

On the other hand, Founders who are trying to scale operations, who are struggling with the issues I am trying to solve, get the problem instantly. I have had 2 early adopter calls till now, a long chain of emails still going on. 3rd early adopter call next week. And 2 more interests came through this week which are not scheduled.

All these 5 Founders have seen that the product is not even MVP. 3 are from Pioneer app so they even reviewed my app. I am totally ashamed of the current state, but I guess these Founders have problems with internal tools of their business. They understand that if my product helps even a bit - they want to see that happen.

I think I have started to believe what many mentors and successful Indies have been saying all along - just get something out and start talking.

My product - dwata

Hope that helps someone else,
Cheers!
