Going part-time Indie Hacker / part-time paternity leave

After finishing work for a consulting client just before the holiday, I'll take some time at home with my three-month-old son and girlfriend. For the next two months, we will be splitting the baby-duty: She will be working 18 hours/week, and I'll try to spend roughly the same amount of time on my projects.

I plan to spend my hacking time in January on getting a couple of updates shipped for Kanbana before shifting my focus to marketing and sales.
I'm currently reading April Dunford's "Obviously Awesome," and I want to use what I learn to improve the positioning of Kanbana.

During the first half of 2021, I hope to ship a couple of small services - mostly to test the waters and train my shipping muscle.

It's nice to hear stories of shared parenting, I've been doing it for years, and still feel like a minority.

Congrats! Babies are awesome - but not always so easy to get work done when they are around! 😉

Do you have any projects planned for the spring?

I remember from my first two kids that my work focus improved a lot - for a while... Now I just hope that I can recreate the effectiveness. 😄
