📈 Growth, Goals, Wins & Failures

This year for me is going to be one of action. To take steps towards personal growth and also the growth of dailydevlinks.

To do this I needed to find a cross path of personal growth and growth of ddl. I looked back to when I very first started ddl and why I did it in the first place.

Two goals crossed over perfectly, I wanted to become a better reader and also curate a resource for developers and designers. Reading 3-5 articles almost daily helped with all of these goals.

Time to set 2021 goals 🎯

  • Become a better writer
  • Give more value to the people using dailydevlinks

Perfect 💡 By creating more valuable content for people I can become a better writer.

I also need to have accountability. This was an easy one, write a newsletter every single week!

Failure 😣

Everything I've said so far is something about growth, setting goals and wins. But where's the failure in all of this?

There isn't any failure in this per se, but for me, it's being vulnerable. My writing skills are poor. Putting my writing out into the world is scary and could result in people not finding any of the content interesting or useful and ultimately unsubscribing and walking away.

But these are my goals, and to worry about things that might not happen isn't going to get me very far. So I'm kicking off the year with a newly written newsletter 🚀

I'm going to be sharing as much as I can while I build in public so if you're interested in following along make sure to subscribe 😃 https://dailydevlinks.com/
