Everyone wants to be happy, there’s no doubt about it. The question is, how is it possible to be happy and fulfilled in the modern world? With all of the cell phones, flip phones, Ipads, Iphones, jib jabs, distractions, and materialism.
See, you are already confused. Well, today, I’m going to share with you the most important habit to form that will change your life, and maybe the world.
You need to be focused and get rid of all distractions. Focus is the most important trait to have as a person in the modern world for several reasons:
Even though we live in a world where technology is overpowering our lives, it is very possible to achieve high levels of focus. First, you have to get rid of daily distractions, such as apps on your phone that are a waste of time. Think about how much time you spend on your phone, well, don’t think, just see for yourself.
Once you check your screen time in your settings app, you might feel ashamed of how much time you spend on your phone. It is important to put all emotions aside and just delete all of the apps on your phone that you do not actually need.
Most likely, most of you will say to yourselves, “Oh, but, I really do need that extra racing game, it’s very fun.” Well, this is far from true, and I’ll tell you why. Studies have shown that the reason why so many people are addicted to their phones is because of dopamine.
Apps have many features, but they have a talent at making you addicted to them. So do yourself a favor, and delete all the apps, games, social media, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and your life will drastically change for the better.
Don’t get me wrong, I used to also have all of those addicting apps and games. However, over 1 year ago, I decided that there were too many negative emotions and time being put into these apps. Therefore, I deleted all of them, and I never regretted it.
To make this change easier, let’s all do this challenge together for 30 days and see what happens. Let’s all delete these apps so we can truly experience how wonderful life really is. After the first week, you will feel much different, more alert, less negative, more happy.
After the second week, you will start to experience much more positive ideas, events, and moments than you did when you had those addicting and brain-wasting apps.
And by the third and fourth weeks, you will feel like you can and will change the world for the better. I guarantee that if you all actually stick to this challenge, it will be the best decision of your life.
It is important to know that before social media and cell phones were created, people actually had real conversations. Conversations that benefited the friendship and lives between the people in them. They did not have distractions, only the people in front of them. This is what we need to work towards.
We can not wait another year, month, week, or even day because it will be far too late by then. We all need to make the right and important decision to get rid of social media, games, and useless negative thoughts in our brains. Once we do this, together, we can change the world.
