Have you tried doing giveaways for your product?
On a whim I decided to do a giveaway on Twitter today. The jury is still out on whether it will be a success, but I'd love to hear about your experience running giveaways. Did you find it worth it? Did it lead to sales? Any risks that I should know about?

I did this about 3 years ago and I was able to quickly grow my email list.
The key is to give away something that your target audience wants- if you don't do this then you risk gaining subscribers who are not interested in your newsletter or your product.
