Hedging Strategy For My Happiness (Day 206)

Which side are you on for the presidential election 2020?

For small guys like me, here's a strategy that'll make me happy regardless of the outcome: instead of donating to the candidate, why not place the bet for the opponent? If the candidate wins, it means it doesn't matter to where my donation money has gone. If the opponent wins, at least I can get my money back, plus the winning, as a consolation prize!

With the odds listed above (Oct 15, 2020 data), a $1,000 bet on Donald Trump, and he wins, the payout will be $1,750! A $1,000 bet on Joe Biden and he wins, the payout will be $1,465!

The odds display is such a complicated, non-trivial way to look at returns. I really like how Hxro displays odds--always in multiples, simple and intuitive:
