I also love the part where you can buy it and it says what the users might be thinking. For example, if they aren't convinced, they click on the corresponding button and the video might make the user rethink their choice which is a very smart idea. Good thinking!

    2. 1

Very nice website! I'll start with the tips. First, change the font. Comfortaa is okay, but looks a bit unprofessional. But don't worry. If you still want that playful or happy feel, go with something like Rubik. It is a very trending font. The other tip I have for you is to change Gumroad form section. It looks a bit messy and not very neat. The margins are a bit messed up and I don't know if that's just my screen.

Overall, your product looks great on the landing page and you have a bright future.

      Nice job! 👍😄

      1. 2

changed to Rubik. Thanks for the font suggestion.
Changed the colors of the Gumroad embed.

        check it out Better Sheets

Didn't even know that changing the colors on Gumroad itself changed that embed form. I had just been messing with the colors. Oh My.

        1. 1

Okay looks great! I also love the black buttons with mono type font. It looks very modern! And yes, the Gumroad form is fixed. I love your website and followed it on IH.

          1. 2

Now that is what I call a well-polished site! Phenomenal job! 👍

The advice I have for you is mainly for the navigation bar. The when you hover over the links when the navigation bar is at the top (and the background is transparent), the hover animation is very subtle (I can't see much of a difference). I think you should add a effect where when you hover on it (and when the navigation bar is at the top), the background should turn white and text color dark. Also, the drop down for the "blog" link is as awesome as the rest of the website and doesn't look very attractive (kind of basic too). Make sure everything on your landing page stands out! This will attract more users and will increase the amount of people saying "wow!" or "I gotta show my designer friend this" and so on...

Then another minor tweak would be to the iPhone mock ups on the front. If you look closely, there is a light blue background just around the borders and I don't think that was from the original mock up. Nor does it look good.

But hey! Great job on the landing page @yahiabakour! 👏😄

    1. 3

This is a very cool landing page! The purple at the beginning pops out a puts an emphasis on your message. The end message at the bottom looks nice too.

I think you should add a footer at the bottom with social links, terms, and other important information. Also, it would be nice if you could embed the google form inside your site instead of just sending you there.

      Great work! 😀👊

      1. 1

Thank you so much for the feedback. I'm going to add terms and privacy policy. We are still in the early beta testing phase so not really active on social media yet.

Google Form: The homepage is built with our builder. And we are building the subscription/form element at this moment. It will be ready soon. Then we will replace the google form with our custom form. :-)

Thanks for subscribing to early access. We are gonna give early access soon.

        1. 2

Your welcome. Doing what I can to help others. 😄

Can't wait for the early access!

    2. 2

Love your landing page - your product looks great too.

      1. 1

        Thanks for your feedback. 🙏

    3. 1

      Hey @mizan! It’s been a bit!

I really love your landing page right now and you really are thriving!

      Best of wishes! 🎉

    1. 1

Very cool idea and this will make an impact! The form in the middle of the page looks great. Even with all the items to select, you pulled it of and didn't make it look daunting. Good job! 👍

I would suggest making the footer look nicer. Right now it just looks like another content section. It should stand out.

Great job and keep up the good work! 😄

      1. 1

Thanks for your feedback. Will fix the footer soon.

    1. 1

Truly, a well done site with a great offering. From the customer acquisition point of view, if you could have a YouTube video or something more to showcase you service more you might increase your conversion rate even more.

    2. 1

Amazing job @storycreator ! This is a really polished portfolio! I love how modern it looks and this would attract so many users. The only pieces of advice I have is first, the navbar and when you hover on blog or pricing, the border under it doesn't grow to its full width of the link. I don't know if this was a design choice or something like that but I think it would look better if when you hover on it, the border grows completely. My last tip is to make the pricing section a little bit dull. What I mean is that each section (free, pro, premium, business) all look the same basically and none of them stand out (except premium because it is the most popular). So I would try to make the other sections stand out to to make the users buy them.

      Very well done site! 👍

    1. 2

Cool design and great idea! I just signed up

      1. 1

Thanks! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.

    2. 2

Wow wow wowwww!!! Nice job @alicanvergin ! The website is so consistent and very clean. The modernish/bright look to it makes me feel happy when I am on the site. The logo for LindyFeed looks awesome! I don't know what I have to say other than keep it up. Staying consistent is so important and you are doing a great job on that.

      Well done! 😃👍

      1. 1

Thank you for your time and feedback @BraydenTW!

        1. 1

No problem! Glad I could help!

  1. 3

Just redesigned the landing page for https://drrac.co/

Would highly appreciate some feedback :D

    1. 1

Wow @Ryden ! I love your landing page AND your templates! Very nicely done and I can see the great amount of time and effort you put into it! I would suggest making the section where you show your templates a bit more interesting. Maybe some illustration doodle in the background or some animation you give to the cards when you scroll down.

      Very well done! 👍

      1. 1

Thanks for the kind words and feedback :D

    1. 3

Very clean and nice job @bkarlovitz ! The mock ups look nice and so does the rest of your site. The section where it says "What does your status meeting cost?" is missing something. What I'm saying is that you shouldn't make the text boxes fill up the whole space. You can add some illustration or other device mock up to help you fill that space.

      Very, super-duper, cool! 👍😄

  2. 2

Hey Brayden, I've read your comment on other pages - well done!

Here's my blog which I am trying to get some traction to, started a couple of weeks ago and got some work to do, but please give some feedback! 😍🤠

    https://techpassenger.com 👈👌

    1. 2

      Hello! 👋

Glad that more and more people keep coming over :D

Here is my feedback for you:

      • First of all, the hero is a bit messy. If you increase the size of the browser and shrink it, the image of the guy flying moves up and down and becomes uncentered. Maybe you could try a flexbox layout to make it more aligned? There are many templates and website builders that could make this easier.
      • The line-height is too small. A good amount of the paragraphs could have more line-height to increase readability.
      • The footer background is a bit over the top. A simple color like #2a3e79 as the background would be just fine.

I think the content is all there. Just keep trying to spread it out so it doesn't seem so packed. panelbear.com does a great job at this. I would definitely use their page as inspiration.

If you decide to use some of this feedback in the future, feel free to come back over. I'd be happy to help! If you found this useful, a share with your friends or an upvote on this post would be awesome.

      Have a great week!

      1. 1

Hey man, thank you very much for the feedback! I will surely use your feedback and ill get back to you when I am done!

        Thanks 👋👋👍👍

        1. 1

          Cool! Have a great week!

  3. 2

First of all, what a nice guy Brayden?!

I have two: StepUp and SuperSilver

    1. 1

      SuperSilver:

      • Very consitent(almost too consistent?)
      • Try adding some variation to the content sections (not always a paragraph and an image 🥱)
      • There is almost too much yellow on the front form
      • I thought that the form was the only thing on the site
      • Try adding some type of arrow or text that tells the user to scroll down

      StepUp:

      • Looks very generic
      • You need a new color palette (try out flatuicolors.com)
      • Looks like we're in 2016
      • Try adding more content about it. I can't tell much from it other than the picture and the minimal amount of text
      • Get a new app logo? The lightning bolt doesn't make me think of a dating app.

Nice ideas for both of your sites. Tell me how the improvements go! 👍

  4. 2

joinhelm.com - hope I'm not too late but I'd really appreciate the insight!

    1. 2

Don't worry! You're not late! I think the name "Helm" and your logo look very nice. The turquoise mixed the purplish/blue looks great. Your landing page looks fine on mobile and tablets 👍

However, on my screen (14in 1080p laptop), the text is all too small. It is still readable but for people with not as good eyes may not enjoy that. Same for the buttons.

For the "Build & share projects with your community. Sign up to create something unique. It's easy." section you don't need the text to be so small when it has a big space around it. I advise you to add some @media tags to your CSS so that it will work on screens like mine. And don't forget to make it work for 2K and 4K screens because those much bigger compared to my 1920x1080p display.

So just make things bigger is my advice for you and more responsive for the larger screens.

      I wish you well! 😄

      1. 2

Thank you so much - this is super helpful. Really appreciate that you're giving such detailed feedback on our projects.

        1. 2

No problemo @joinhelm! Can I ask you a favor? It would be awesome if you chould check out my friend's post about a new publication. It would be awesome if you could follow it on Medium too. This could help our world be cleaner if more people know about it.

          Thanks so much Kai! 👋😄

            1. 1

              Cool thanks so much!

    1. 1

Very neat layout and design! I love the name "Woord".

I think the scrolling animation are a perfect fit 👌, the fonts and colors are used well, and all the areas where content is displayed looks great! The vector illustrations are also a nice touch. 👍

Maybe you can make the FAQ section a bit more dynamic instead of just using the regular drop down style. Tell me how it goes!

And also one more thing. I don't know if it's a typo or not but the email in the footer says "Email: hello[[@]]getwoord.com". Are the brackets "[[]]" necessary?

Anyway, great job and I love the landing page! 😃

      1. 1

        WOW! Great insights.
Yes, I used the brackets to prevent spammers to getting my email. Looks ugly right? Haha!
Do you have an example in other sites where I can see a "more dynamic way" to show the FAQ section?
        Really appreciate your feedback :)

        1. 1

          Check out this example: http://collectui.com/designers/WeirdoWizard/faq

It would be cool if you could implement that in somehow. And also when I click on some the top FAQ item, it opens that one and when I close it, all the other ones open. Hope you understand what I mean.

          Have a great day! 👍

          1. 2

Working on this! Just finished a way where any user can to test the audio conversions without sign in!

            1. 1

Cool! Tell me how it goes!

    1. 1

This is a decent start. Some things I like about your website are first, the slideshow. It is a good element and can be used forward when you improve your design more. The subtitles are very generic looking and don't standout. I would also add buttons to go forward or backward in the slideshow. Content wise, I think the it looks professional. You have the right amount of information and images displayed on your website so neither of them would be too much for the viewer (keep that in mind 😉).

The green and blue links on the bottom of the site look a bit out-dated too. The shouldn't be different colors. The navigation bar is a dark blue so find a good accent color to go with it. Maybe a light blue or orange would be good replacement over sticking with the green and blue colors. Also, the two links should both have less text inside of them. For example, instead of "Click here to contact us" you would say "contact us". You do not need to tell them to click there when users can already identify that it is a link.

Contact me if you make any changes or want more feedback. 👋😄

      1. 2

Thank you for your comments, I will take them on board

  5. 2

    Hi Braden-

Would love your thoughts on https://www.owlstown.com

    Thanks!

    1. 1

Pretty nice website! I love the theme of Owlstown! The yellow works very well with the bright theme. I would stick with the light theme and you shouldn't try using a dark theme. Light theme is just fine.

I think the button on the front looks a bit strange with black text on a yellow background. Maybe you should try a black border, yellow background, and white text? Just a thought. It would also be good to add some hover animations to the navigation links. Especially the sign up and login page. Also create a bit more space between the navigation links. They are pretty tight.

Then when it comes to your content, I think it looks great 👍. The images are fitting and it is cool that you have the alternating sides for an image. I think you should add some animate on scroll effects to the images and text (https://michalsnik.github.io/aos/)

Great job and let me know if you decide to implement those changes. 🙂👍

      1. 1

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my website. I’ll reconsider the colors of the buttons and space out the navigation.

  6. 2

    requestly.io

    Would really appreciate your feedback.

    1. 2

Very cool idea and I love the illustrations. On the "Features that make life better" section, for each individual section, make the titles a bit more pronounced with either a different font or thicker version of Poppins.

Overall, requestly.io is a nicely produced website. 👏😀

    1. 2

Love the name 👍! And guess what? When I was writing this review, I stopped to take a break. A good half hour later, I was going to continue. You know what the first thing I remembered? "Tagai.io"

That's when you know you have a good name. Amazing job on the branding!

I think your website is very descriptive and displays your product well. I would suggest the "request access" button's box-shadow when hovered over. It is a bit to dense and small. Expand the shadow and make it a bit lighter (this is a good common practice). The videos on the side of your site help me understand what you are trying to show.

Great job and keep it up! 👍😉

    1. 1

I think this will impact many IndieHackers and future entrepreneurs. I think it gives you great insights and ideas for future projects. It also lets you track the top Startups.

Great job and I wish you well! 😄

    2. 1

Very cool. I have seen your website before and it did not disappoint. The "Our Heroes" section is pretty organized and easy to understand. My favorite part is the "Glowing Community" section. The icons are on point 👌 and the images make sense. I would try to make the email text box at the front of your site stand out more. That is very important for you because you want people to sign up.

I guess I'll have to signup my product! 👍😄

  7. 2

    JustFitness.io
    Personal Fitness Tracking, Your Way.

    1. 1

I really like the slate grey background. The darker navigation bar on top looks great too. The pricing section is very cool too. You made each price a bit different in style to make each of them stand out. Very smart 👍!

The only tip I have for you is to add some more content to the footer. It feels empty.

Great job on it and I can tell you spent a lot of time! 😄

      1. 1

Thanks. This is the 3rd public iteration .
Seems like the footer is the part that most people focus on to review.

        More content or less padding.

        I appreciate your feedback.

  8. 2

Hey @BraydenTW, really appreciate your offer ... https://polyui.com

    1. 1

Yes!!! Parallax used correctly! I love the images that are next to the "You design. We code" section. Very well done 👍 ! Your idea for this business was clearly well thought out and I could understand what you were giving in under 20 seconds. Maybe you could add a parallax to more elements on your page?

This was a joy to review! Great job! 😄👍

      1. 1

thank you, means a lot to me

    1. 2

Very cool and simple to understand process! This is a great product! However when I checked the mobile view, the image's text and content are small and hard to read.

      Good job overall! 👍😄

      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! Will take another pass through for mobile and see if I can improve that.

    1. 2

Very clean layout. Minimalist too. 👍

The title that says "Instagram branding for indie hackers" should have a cool font like Whitespace or Circular. This will make it look great! Maybe add an image or two next to that title. It's lonely. 😥

Very cool idea and wish you well! 👍

    1. 1

I like the Material Design concepts in your site (I'm a big fan!). The graphs look very readable and the orange color contrasts well. The top 5 section could use some improving. This is the top 5! Make it proud! Make it loud! It should be celebrated!

      Great design! 😄

      1. 1

Thanks, I was thinking to rebuild it as it's really not that great. Thanks for the opinion!

    1. 1

Very neat website mate. Could you share what tools you used to build the landing page?

    2. 1

I love how your theme is very consistent throughout the whole page. The white and green are a perfect combo 👌. However, the footer on the bottom looks a bit bland compared to the rest of the page's exciting feel. I also checked the responsiveness of your page and it passed with flying colors! 🌈

      Very well done! 👍

    1. 1

Very cool landing page! One of the best I've seen! It reminds me of a notebook. You took that to the next level. I think animations looks nice and the icons are great too. I would change the position of some of your sections because (the last one especially) they don't feel vertically aligned. In other words, they are closer to the top of the screen when the container takes 100% of the height.

Very good job though. You have a good future! 👍😄👏

      1. 1

Thanks for the great feedback! I'll take it on board and make the changes asap :)

    1. 1

Very great design Josh! I love how modern it looks. This could be very trending in the future. It seems very responsive and easy to use. I would suggest fixing the app template called "chat app". It doesn't seem as complete as your other pages in your theme. I think so because it doesn't feel like the modern day chat apps or sites like iMessage, Hangouts, or Slack. If you tailor that page to be more like one of the examples I mentioned earlier (with still keeping your style apparent), I believe I and many others would use that feature.

You've got great things coming for this product and future ones. 😄👍

    1. 3

Very good idea and great content! However, the layout is somewhat packed and it feels a bit overwhelming. The colors you chose are nice though.

I would just suggest giving the items on the page more room and to also minify the amount of content on the screen. In my opinion, it would be hard for mobile users to navigate this site.

      Keep it up @bozkan ! 😃👍

      1. 2

        That's great feedback, thanks Brayden!

  9. 2

Awesome initiative 👍 Here is mine: Betterfolio

    1. 1

Hey, nice job! Very great design and layout and it is very clean and minimalist! The title font looks nice on the title, but everywhere else like on smaller titles and the pricing looks a bit ugly (sorry...). Using that font is nice on the biggest titles but on buttons and navigation links, it doesn't have the same feel. Overall, the illustrations are very nice and I would give your site three thumbs up (If I had 3 hands)! 👍👍👍

      1. 1

Awesome, thanks for your feedback! Very appreciated!

  10. 2

I would really love some tips on this, https://www.designtack.com

    1. 2

Very good website @vaibhavThevedi ! The design is very modern and bright. So nice! I would suggest making the drop down navigation menu pop out a bit more because it is white on white. I would also suggest decreasing the amount of space between certain sections during mobile mode especially between "Web Application as Mobile App" and "Fill The Following Form To Request A Meeting".

      Great job overall! 😀

      1. 2

Thank you so much, @BraydenTW. I really appreciate your feedback.

        1. 2

No problem @vaibhavThevedi ! You definitely have got one bright future as a web designer!

    1. 1

      Pretty neat design!

      • First of all, the intro video looks sick. 👍 Kudos to you!
      • I don't think it's a great idea to have a signup page right on the hero section. I personally would rather read through first, and then I would consider signing up. Again, just my opinion.
      • Those 3 floaty sections should not have an animation on hover unless it actually takes you somewhere. I would suggest adding a link to each of those divs or just remove the hover effect all together.
      • The final testimonials look nice, and I think it adds some good credibility to the site.
      • Finally, the final part of the landing page is a good start. To make it more legible and enhancing, I would darken the background image to make the text, buttons, and logo stand out.

      Overall, great job!

If you every want more feedback, feel free to come back over. I'd be happy to help! If you found this useful, a share with your friends or an upvote on this post would be awesome.

      Have a great weekend!

    1. 2

      Wow! 🤯

This is great! (I've seen this before when you replied to a post of mine ;))

      Great work!

      Here's my feedback:

      • The website has tons of info and great demos, (which is great), however it still feels a bit empty. Now I know that this is still in development so that makes sense. But I would definetly suggest get those reviews, testimonials, and other credibilty and slap it onto the landing page. This will defiently increase the conversions.
      • I am getting this error on my laptop:

The webpage at https://player.vimeo.com/video/454397700?background=1&loop=1&quality=1080p might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

It is for the first and 2nd video demo. Do you know why this might be so? I reloaded and refreshed but it doesn't work. It was working for me a couple days ago.

      Overall, great website.

If you every want more feedback, feel free to come back over. I'd be happy to help! If you found this useful, a share with your friends or an upvote on this post would be awesome.

      Have a great weekend!

      1. 1

Thanks for the detailed feedback, we will work on this!

        1. 1

Glad I could help! I'm very excited to try it out!

    1. 1

Hey, thanks for coming on over.

I think the design, colors, and branding is jsut fine for now. Especially since it is still in beta.

However something that I have an issue with is the responsiveness. No worries though. This has come up alot in this post and it's something that everyone has trouble with in the beginning.

For example, the content goes off screen if too small and the landing page on mobile is completely zoomed out. This does not demonstrate a reponsive website.

I came across a nice post where it teaches you the basics on how to make your website responsive for different scale ratios and devices:

@SnapperFish, sorry for the late response!

      Here's my advice for similarbooks.to.

      • First of all, nice domain name! I think that's a neat grab and really shows what you have made.
      • On the landing page, I would center the content in the middle of the screen (horizontally and vertically)
      • I would also make the book search bar bigger. Add more emphasis to it. That's what you want users to first do once they view this page, correct?
      • The landing page is also very barebones, which is fine if this is an MVP. I would just make sure you polish the site up by doing the following: Making the nav links white with NO underline, adding some more content and "about" sections on the landing so we can learn more, getting a new logo, etc.
      • Also, the mobile version looks fine for now, but if you do decide to add more content onto the landing page, I would make sure the mobile page looks nice. With the growing number of mobile users, we should make sure that our website is responsive.
      • For fun, also try adding a light/dark mode toggle. You'll have to try it out and see which if this is a benefit to the users at all.

      Hope this is helpful!

      Hi Sally! 👋

      Thanks for hopping aboard!

Here is my feedback for you:

      • First of all, the product itself looks amazing. Super clean, minimal and well polished. IMO there is no changes needed there.
      • As for the hero, the content is nice but it's a bit too wordy.

For example, Start a new conversation with one click and enjoy! and Talk instantly with your remote team kind of say the same thing. I'd suggest keeping one, and mentioning the other later on your landing page. Both of those act as great headers.

Again, I'm not the greatest copywriter, 😅 but those are just my thoughts.

      • The design and layout of your landing page is pretty nice too. Maybe you could remove those random circles? It's an interesting design choice, but I'd change it up so they don't touch the text.
      • Testimonials look great - have you tried adding a picture of this people? Doing so increases credibility and conversions.

      Overall, it looks super nice.

If you every want more feedback, feel free to come back over. I'd be happy to help! If you found this useful, a share with your friends or an upvote on this post would be awesome.

      Have a great week!

      Hey! 👋

First of all, it's super cool how you made a pretty decent landing page with Carrd.co. I've always found no-code website builders to be hard-to-use, but they do look pretty polished in the end... kudos to you 👏 for taking that step!

      Anyways, here's my feedback:

      • The content and styling above the fold (the hero) is awesome! I think the dark background really emphasizes your message.

However, dark all the way through shouldn't be the way to go. Maybe the content after the hero could have a lighter background. Right now it seems too intense and switching it up could increase conversions.

As far as copywriting goes, I'm not super good at it... 😅 but after reviewing many other landing pages here, it looks pretty nice! Super simple and straight-to-the-point.

After that content, there is a Join Us Now button. That shouldn't go there. It would be best to put that after the testimonials.

As for the testimonials, make them a bit neater. Adding a picture of that person with a job title increases credibility too.

Take a look at this page for inspiration to guide you 😄: https://www.niceverynice.com/components-categories/testimonial

One last thing, on mobile the first Join Us Now button is taking up the width of the whole screen. Maybe you could make a quick fix?

      ---

Great work though! Making this quick changes should help your landing page conversions. If you every want more feedback, feel free to come back over. I'd be happy to help! If you found this useful, a share with your friends or an upvote on this post would be awesome.

      Have a great week!

        Thank you so much Brayden!

I really appreciate the kind words and actionable feedback. This was the first time I had used a no-code service to build a website and there are lots of things I still have to learn. But thanks to your advice, now I know in which direction I need to go.

        Wishing you a productive week,
        Bogdan

Sounds good @ildottore! Best of wishes!

Hey Brayden, great post, im getting lots of value from your comments. What is your background?

Would greatly appreciate some feedback on www.ecompilot.net. It's my product research tool ecommerce sellers.

    1. 1

Hey @JLenny, no problem! I have been a frontend developer for 3 years now and am offering my feedback for free to help the IH community out (you can learn more about me here).

I'm no professional, but I'm happy to offer my help. 😃

      • The first thing I notice is the messy hero section. The title is nice and attention grabbing, while the little paragraph under it is bold. If you want to keep that same text style, I would position that illustration under it.
      • I think the content right below the fold is also a bit jumbled. If you are having the alignment alternate, there should be some illustration/image adjacent to it. https://panelbear.com/ does a nice job at this.

Overall, the content is all there. I think if you just take the time to look at other modern sites for inspiration, you can completely transform this landing page to convert better. 👍

      Try styles such as https://vercel.com/home, https://panelbear.com, https://github.com/home

As always, after each iteration try getting more feedback from different people. This will help shape your landing page into a beautiful design overall.

      Best of wishes! 🙏

      1. 1

Thanks a lot for the feedback - I've implemented it as soon as I got home earlier today - https://ecompilot.net/. I've taken inspiration from your listed panelbear.com. It's already looking a lot better. Still have a list of things I'd want to improve (perhaps get some better icons/svg graphics) and add video demonstrating tool, after which I will hold off on further changes until I begin advertising and seeing some traffic.

        1. 1

Awesome - glad you found it useful in some way :D

Would love some tips if you’ve still got a few minutes! 🔗 https://bag.supply/

    1. 1

Hey, no problem! I'm happy to offer my help :D

      Here's my feedback:

      • I think it is a very clean-looking site. Very minimal and a great logo! 👏
      • The "Made for Shopify" text on the top right looks like a button/navlink. Maybe you could have it link to Shopify or your product?
      • The demo below the fold looks great and very elegant. However, maybe you could have some text in that animation describing what it's doing. Just a thought :D
      • I think your content is great and is very clear what your are showing. Good job!

If these is an MVP, I'd say it's great. If you are past that phase, I would say it could use a bit more social proof. Of course, your still in the early-access phase so that's just fine.

And by the way, did you design this all by yourself or use a framework? I love the styling of the landing page.

      Anyways, best of wishes!

      1. 1

Appreciate it – going to take all of this on board! I've always been a bit indecisive when it comes to video editing (which is why I refrain from overdoing it), but I think you're right — adding some copy will tie it together nicely!

Just an MVP atm, so no app store link or social proof, but will definitely take note of that for later.

Really appreciate the design feedback! 😅 I designed it myself, although, I do rely heavily on TailwindUI as kind of like my design guideline (if that makes sense). Apart from that, I'd say most of my inspiration came from these homepages – Notion, Spline, and Splitbee. Happy to answer any other questions!

        Thanks again Brayden! 🙌

I'd love to hear you thoughts on joinmentee.com!

Both on the website and idea, very welcome :).

    1. 1

      Hey @Kouzelis!

Here is my feedback on the website:

      • The header is nice. Good use of contrast and space. 👍
      • The email form in the hero section is much too far away from the rest of it's content. Try moving it closer.
      • The image with the person staring at a blob does nothing for me. If you're telling the viewer about a mentor platform, then it would be good to show a screenshot of that tool kind of like what Slack.com does.
      • The rest of the content looks great. The tool and purpose looks very cool all together. 👏
      • One thing you should fix is the responsiveness of the landing page. To put it bluntly, your landing page is very static. The design and colors might be great but that other key factor in a good landing page is completely thrown out the window. 😬

Take a look at this page to learn more about responsive design: https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_responsive.asp

Idea-wise, I think it's great... to me. I can't help you out a lot on this part because I am not your target customer. I'm not in need of a mentoring platform 🤷‍♂️. I would suggest you find a group of people you know who might use this potentially and act on the feedback they give you.

      Best of luck!

      1. 1

        Hi Brayden,

thanks a lot for the feedback! Very helpful to hear from someone who has seen tons of pages ;). Good point on the person staring at the blob, I'll look to replace that.

I'll also have a look at the responsiveness. However, since it's built with wix, I'm not sure there's much I can do yet...

        Thanks again! Appreciate it!

        1. 1

You’re welcome! A like and word out to friends of this post is very much appreciated :)

Have a great rest of your week!

Hey there, sorry for the delay... 😅

It’s honestly a pretty clean page. I love the simplistic and modern feel to it. Reminds me a lot of daily.dev’s UI 📰

Here are some little changes I suggest you make:

      • The hover transitions for the buttons are too slow. The sweet spot is right around 0.3s
      • I think having the upvote button for a comment stay in the user’s view is not helpful 😕. I would keep it fixed at the top of the given comment.
      • The color palette for dark mode isn’t great. I would keep the buttons at the same blue but just lighter for contrast. Also, make the links not green, maybe a lighter blue or bolded?

Also, at the search bar on the very top, maybe you could make it a text box instead of directing it to the search page? Just a thought. 😄

Overall, it’s design and UI are great.

      Have a great day!

I like on this post is appreciated. 👋

https://matematikyardim.com/Home/Index This is a website for math tutors to register to be able to find students to teach. One can only enter the relevant information to be shown, no sign in, no sign up. You can think of it as a minimum viable product. I know you don't understand the language, but would you publish your relevant information on this website. I mean, does it seem to be a trustable website? Thanks in advance buddy!

    1. 1

Sorry, it looks like I forgot to answer your question. 😅

Yes, the content seems trustable (I used the google translate extension) but improving the design would help the general credibility of the site more.

      Hope this helps!

    2. 1

      Hey there, ️👋

I think the content on your website is great. Everything is there. However, you now need to focus on the design itself. It is very default-looking. Looks to much like an MVP.

I found a really cool resource the other day: https://thomasdigital.com/website-redesign/

It should help with the bulk of the process. For where you are at, start at the “What is website redesign?”

Feel free to come back here or send me an email to ask questions or get feedback on the new design.

      Best of luck!

      Hey @nikoloza,

I think it looks super clean! ... on desktop. It looks like you have not made it mobile-responsive. 😔

Design-wise, I think there is nothing else to change. Once you make this more friendly for mobile devices, you’ll definitely be able to draw in more conversions.

Do you need help doing this? Have you used responsive design before? I’d be happy to give you some pointers. 😃

      Best of luck! 👋

      1. 1

Thanks, Brayden, happy that you like it. Responsive indeed is the next thing to come and I think we're all set.

👋 Hey there - I'm happy to help!

      • First of all, the title "Keep your business" makes no sense. It needs to be more clear 🔎. Since you mainly do design, talk about that in the title.
      • I think the line height of the hero's title could be a bit more spaced out. Right now it feels very compact and if you want to keep it the same, make it have the same font as the other titles on the site.
I think the grid section after that looks amazing and elegant. Great work! 👏
      • The "LET YOUR ONLINE IMAGE SHINE" section is by far my favorite but the yellow background is too dark. It takes away that simplistic aspect. Try making it a bit more light.
      • The gif of the screen recording at the end isn't helpful at all 😟. Is there supposed to be a title? Some text too? If not, I would remove it completely.
      • Where you display pieces of your work, I would add a title and link to the project when someone hovers over it. Also include a slight black-tinted overlay.
      • I noticed that you have a email subscription form in the footer. If you want more to see 👀 it, put it right before the footer and give it some value. Make them want to signup.

      Hope this helps!

      1. 1

Thank you so much that you took time and gave me some really good advice. I will definitely do an update of my page.

  17. 1

    Hey Brayden!

In case you're still interested and providing feedback ;)

    Thanks!

    1. 2

Hey 👋, no problem! I'm happy to know that this post is still getting indiehackers' attention.

      • First of all, the main hero text element is centered when it should be aligned to the left. You can have it centered like it already is on a smaller screen.
      • When you zoom out, the hero section is also taking up the whole width of the screen and the justify-content setting I'm assuming is on space-between. Try changing it to space-around and give it a bit of padding in between the two.
      • I think that opening GIF is great! 👊
      • The "Take us for a test drive" section should be at the very bottom. Try explaining it first, then you can pop that up at the end. Doing this will hopefully increase conversions.
      • Also, the arrows bouncing up and down should go away. It is unnecessary and "forces" the viewer to sign up (in a bad way 😕)
      • I think the main content in the "What can you do with us?" section could be a bit more wide.
      • Try mentioning the actual brand name "Linkrush" in the hero. When I scroll down and it says, "How does Linkush work?", I have to stop and think "wait, what is this again?". Mentioning it earlier would help shrink that gap.
      • Also, when you move that test drive section to the bottom, lose that other try for free cta button. That is just more unnecessary room.

Hope this helps - have a great day! 🤗

    1. 2

Thanks for submitting a site! Here are my tips:

      • Looks great. I love the styling/branding/and colors.
      • I think adding the 5 star Shopify rating is very smart. 👍
      • On my 1080p 14in laptop screen, there is a bit of screen overflow. (a bit of extra space on the right side). I would suggest adding overflow-x: hidden; to your main container to remove this.
      • The content on the screen is very wide :( and there is very little spacing on both sides of the content. I would suggest increasing the room on both sides by a bit to give your site a more cleaner look.
      • I think your screenshots and demo pics look great. They are very to-the-point and help illustrate what you are trying to show. 👏
      • On the "Connect the tools you already use daily" section, it would be cool if you could click on those cards which would lead you to some type of step-by-step tutorial on how to integrate it. Again, not super important to have, but it's worth thinking of.

If you need help on things related to responsive design, check out responsively.app by Indiehacker @manojvivek. It is super helpful for testing out different screen sizes and ratio for your website to help improve responsiveness.

I think if you make the content more breathable and neat on the screen, it should turn some more eyes your way. Other than that, I think your landing page is great.

Hope this helps! A follow and like would be appreciated. 🙏

Thanks, and have a nice week!

    1. 2

Love that Indiehackers are still accessing help from this :D

      • I think the different location cards look awesome.
      • The footer looks great but the links should have a smaller font and more line-height between them
      • Maybe a bit more copy on the landing page? I think that all the sea info is great, but maybe a paragraph or two of why you should sign up would be great.
      • I think having the "saved" nav link button on the top is pointless if the user hasn't signed up. Make it only show up when they are logged in.
      • I don't think the "explore" button should lead to the one on the homepage. You should a setup a seperate page for exploring and make the homepage more focused on selling the idea.
      • On each of the location pages, there is very little info about a sentence or two long. Work on increasing the content and make it sell to the viewer.

      Hope this helps 👍

      1. 1

        Thanks! ❤️

I was checking all time posts 😇

Hey @marijnroukens. Sorry for the late response 😅

      Here's my feedback for you:

      • Make the buttons border radius smaller. It will give a more proffesional feel and will fit with the rest of the site better. Or if you want to keep the same border roundness, make the font-weight thicker.
      • Great logo and branding. The colors are superb!
      • 💖 the illustrations! (were they custom-made?)
      • Very clear layout. I understand what you are trying to tell.
      • Please add a title to the F&Q section. It would help follow the rest of the site's system.
      • The "Go Back" button on https://www.dienox.com/av brings me to a 404 page error. It seems to be directing to https://www.dienox.com/old-home. I suggest you get that fixed.
      • The drop-shadow for the buttons are too dark. Make them a bit lighter and more spread out.
      • Try putting the testimonial card in it's own section. And instead of one, getting more.

      Hope this helps.

      1. 1

Thank you for your feedback! Wrote it down and will work on it asap. Highly appreciated.

Hi @Jonathanvw! Nice idea you got there!

      Here is my feedback:

      • I'd suggest changing the main font from Montserrat to DM Sans or Inter. This will give it a more modern and fresh feel.
      • The border around the "Try it out" nav link should be 1.5px or 2px thin.
      • Leave some extra padding on the top of the footer.
      • The page is not very mobile-friendly. Try lowering the title font size, centering blocks, giving extra space to the images.
      • The images are too large on bigger screens. Make sure they fit the same text:image ratio when you scale up on screen sizes.
      • The textarea for your demo is very very large. The max width of it should be around 900px.

Hope this advice is useful for you!

      1. 1

Thanks Brayden! Really helpful advice. Appreciate it.

I would really love if you comment on this:
    https://domainport.io

    1. 1

No problem @Rohitlakh! Here are my tips for your website:

      • Add more content on the landing page. There are very few words on the landing page and too much images. The ratio is very uneven. An idea for what you can write about could be: "what is the main user problem?"
      • A GIF for the main hero image would be cool. It would help show the idea better.
      • The "contact here" link at the bottom should be a button. Not a plain piece of text.
      • The contact link shouldn't go to your Twitter. You would use twitter for something more like "About the Creator of DomainPort"

Hope this helps. On a side note, I would like to help you with a logo redesign for DomainPort. Your website is very fresh and modern but your logo doesn't reflect that. Ping me at [email protected] if you're interested :)

      1. 1

That were some really great tips.
Thank you for those, i will try to improve the page.
Thank you for the offer but I made this logo by myself just to get started and right now have asked my friend who is a designer to make me one.
But again thanks for the insights.

        1. 1

You're very much welcome. Thanks for letting me do this :)

  20. 1

Thank you for the opportunity, Brayden
    Here it is:
    https://www.dashly.io/

    1. 1

      No problem :)

      • In the "Delivered by Dashly to our clients:" section, add a comma between the numbers instead of spaces
      • In the "Chat with Customer is your new sales engine" and "Reduce your team overload with leadbot and knowledge base" sections, there is a huge empty space on the left side. Is there supposed to be a GIF that is still loading? If so, It hasn't showed up.
      • Same thing for the "Easily integrate with your stack" section. There is an empty space under that too. Did you remember to add the right paths to your files/optimize them?
      • The Dashly Logo isn't showing up. Alt text is showing up instead.
      • The screen is unable to scroll or move when I open the drop down menu in mobile. Add a function in JS where the scrollbar closes if I scroll or tap on the outside of it. I do that for my website buildfaster.co and it works like a charm
      • In mobile, the welcome section has no visuals like on desktop and just plain text. It makes me want to skip that section and scroll down or back out. The desktop does a nice job of that with the people GIFs. Keep that in mind.

Also, I have a question: Can people change the accent color of their chat widget? If I was using it, I wouldn't go with the grey. Probably a blue or orange.

      Hope this helps :)

      1. 1

        so. damn. useful.
dropped the comment to my colleague who can introduce the changes pretty soon.
I shall be back with the results of your review!

        Thanks a ton!!!

      • Hopefully you are planning to use a custom domain
      • The <title> of "SaaS Application" doesn't tell me much 🤔
      • Add some :hover animations to the buttons/links/text inputs. A simple background brightness change would be good enough
      • Make the screenshot on the hero section an animation. I can't really understand what it is doing at first glance 👀
      • Place the "Improve Engagement" section in the middle because it has more text than the other two. It will look more balanced
      • The site itself looks very nice and unique, but the logo is all black which looks boring. (I'd be happy to do a redesign for you. email me at [email protected] if you're interested)
      • The footer is very nice and clean. Nice use of spacing 👏
      • The "get started" button at the top takes me nowhere

      Hope that helps 😄

      1. 1

Hey thanks a lot, I was actually just validating the idea and build a quick prototype, the landing page is not even at 20%.

    1. 1
      • The illustration on the front looks great 👍
      • Make each pricing point looks different (different colored banners, sizes, etc.)
      • Add a border around the price points
      • Give the footer a different background color (#202027)
      • The email inputs at the front of the page are to tall
      • Make the navigation bar fixed
      • The "How it works" title looks like you can click on it

Tell me if you need any help with the design. I'd be happy to help 😄

  21. 1

This is a good post (and comments).

    Please check mine ybbond.dev

      • Like the dark/light theme feel
      • Too much text? If so ⬇
      • Find a way to add thumbnails to your blog posts (that will make it a bit more interesting)
      • Color choices are 👌
      • I like how it looks like on big .md file 😄
      • The text is so small on bigger screen sizes (2k monitor)
      • h-card looks nice!
      • Try using the "DM Mono font for titles" find it on google fonts

      Hope that helps! 😄

      1. 1

Thank you! our feedbacks are really helpful, and some of them are affirmation of my doubts about the site’s design.

I will try to improve them. Good day to you, thanks!

  22. 1

Hi, thanks for the great initiative. Recently I started making my landing pages in pure html and css, but then I found them to be just labor work, so I built them from scratch using React hooks and css grid. Here is my apps page https://onmyway133.com/apps/ and one of my app landing page https://onmyway133.com/pastepal/. Hope you get valuable feedback from you

    1. 2
      • The title page on the front is off centered on my 1080p 14in laptop
      • On the front of your site, there is only a title and blue background. Try adding a image
      • The animations looks nice
      • Don't put your info in the footer
      • The apps on your app page are off centered. Try doing 4 per row
      • Choose different colors for each platform badge (MacOS, iphone, chrome, etc.)
      • Your logo could use some improvements (email me at [email protected]) I would love to help create a new logo for you
      • Add your products to IndieHackers 😉
      1. 1

thanks for the great feedback, I will fix them

    1. 1
      • Add a parallax to the front page bg
      • Make the button colors pop out more. The mint green isn't very bright. Try more of a neon green
      • Don't use the ✔. Use a font awesome icon instead
      • Have the nav links order be: For Startups, FAQ, Request invite
      • Add more social links in the footer
      • The title for the front of the page is off centered on my 1080p 14in screen
    1. 1

Hmmm... Try using a font like open sans. The default font you have right now looks strange. Doesn't fit well with the hero section. The navigation bar logo gettings smaller on scroll looks cool.

The artwork parallaxes looks AWESOME! Very good use of the parallax. 👍

The download on app store and google play buttons are a bit too big. Add another image to make up for the space there when scaling the buttons down.

      Good job man!

    Is it too late? :D
    If not, https://mowned.com

    Thanks!

    1. 2

      No, not all! 😄

I like your website a lot. The phone animation at the beginning is cool, except it is a bit twitchy when it loads in. Try optimizing it so it can load in smoothly on all devices. Other images on your site are too pixely for me. I am on a 1080p 14in laptop right now so I shouldn't have poor images. Your parallaxes are very nice.

Maybe work on your color palette? The blue is a bit ugly and the orangeish-yellow looks out of place. Since the first phone image on the welcome section is very dark, try making your whole site dark.

Just a thought 😉. Let me know how it goes! 👍

      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with your points! And glad you like the site! :D

I have to fix the animation glitch for the cover image, yesterday I've discovered it's even more buggy on Safari and Firefox (versus Chrome, where only randomly "jumps"). Will dig more and see.

Phones photos are low quality. One option is to reduce their dimensions.

Parallax - thanks :). Those aren't perfect for higher resolutions display though.. i need to remake the whole logic there.

Colors.. this is another domain where i have to learn a lot.

        Home:
I've tried to be not that abrupt when switching to a background color to another, (black background with cyan phone => cyan background => light background colors). As for light background colors, I've tried to use colors that express confidence, creativity, alertness (hot phones). I personally don't like that orange color too the more I see it hahah. Will tweak this one too.
And i've used white background on "time explorer" section because the phone photos have white background.. :). A solution that i've tried priorly was an gradient background overlay, but all section would look "pale"

The cyanish blue is the base color (eg: https://mowned.com/demo - it's the background too). I'm using different shades of the color by darken/lighten or with transparent overlays. I've tried to pick a color that is not too hard for eyes and to have some contrast. This is a previous color I've used:
https://mowned.com/butterfly.html (you have to go from home to demo by clicking the showcase screenshot, without refreshing the page)

OK here it goes. I was part of the 1,900 people laid off at Airbnb. I've used it as a push to get my own business off the ground, so would LOVE your feedback on the homepage for this product.

    https://oxbridgemasterclass.com/

It helps students make stronger university applications. Target audience is schools to purchase for their students, or parents to buy for their child.

    1. 1

Sorry for the delayed response. Anyway:

      • The parallax looks awesome
      • Very unique site, never have seen anything like it 👍
      • Make the form on the bottom a bit less default looking. Make me want to type in it
      • Try a font like Abril Fatface for the titles

Overall, what is bugging me the most is the title font. The Serif look is okay but it feels a bit too old and medieval.

      1. 1

Thanks for taking the time to write! I'll have to think about up to tweak the contact form. I've found most people use Live Chat (though that might be because the contact form doesn't look inviting ;) ).

The font I'll mull over. I'm glad you said medieval and old, as that was actually the intention. The universities were founded in 1086, so we wanted to blend old and new, with this font carrying the old.

        Thoughts on if this works?

        1. 1

I think that would make sense. feel free to do whatever you’d like with the font 😄

  25. 1

    It's still a prototype (but a working one) so I bet that's gonna be a burn :D
    Site: https://templater-d1fb0.web.app/

    1. 2

Not a bad idea for sure! The design is very basic and I feel that it can go farther. Work on making one that looks nice and not just one that "works" 😐.

The green and white look amazing 👌, but the font could be something more like Inter, Open Sans, or Rubik. The icons could also use a do over.

Not much else from me for advice. Feel free to send it on over again when you've finished the design.

      1. 1

I just improved upon your hints:

        • implemented graphics with matching primary color - green (images from here: https://www.manypixels.co/gallery if someone is interested)
        • changed font to Open Sans (it's impressive you pick on such subtleties!)
        • all buttons (except Go Premium) now work and they scroll to the main tool
        • not sure if I should also change icons in Why it's so good section to also graphics, but don't want to over do it. After all - it's for companies (but I might be wrong).

Please let me know if that's better: https://doctempleapp.com (new domain) and, if possible, where I should improve on.

    1. 1

I use darwinmail so it's cool to review it! 😄

I idea is very good and I think it all functions properly. You should try to drift away from the Material design look of it. TBH, I would mistake it to be some off-brand google web app. You do not want to give your user that idea. Try making your own style. Look at these examples for some inspiration.

      Wish you luck! 😄🙏

      1. 1

        That's fantastic :)

Thank you so much for being a user and for the feedback. There are some great pointers in there.

I am planning a huge upgrade to the design :)
Most recently I cleaned it all up. Next, I will upgrade it!

        1. 1

          Cool! Can't wait! 😃

    1. 2

For the welcome section that underlines "Zapier", instead of underlining it, you should highlight it with a light teal background. On the contact section, make the send buttons centered and not left-aligned.

If you are giving the "learn more" button a box shadow on hover, you should make it look like a button in the first place. It looks like a link and therefore should have an animation for a link. The text should change colors or have an underline. Hope that makes sense.

You have a very straight-to-the-point website with minimal content. Good job! 👍

Tell me if you would like more feedback or something else. 😃

      1. 1

Yeah agreed! Thank you so much for taking the time to check it out, I really appreciate it :)

    1. 1

The front of the page looks a bit vertically un-centered. Make your navigation bar fixed so that the front content will be centered with the screen. The code snippet part looks cool. I would take off Node.js and Java in the code section and say they are coming soon somewhere else.

The "Do more with an end-to-end solution" section could used some colored icons instead of the grey icons. It will give your site a bit more "pop".

For the navigation drop down in mobile view, when you open it, it shouldn't push down the content. Keep the content where it is and let the menu drop down over it.

      Nice job @andrewg! 😄

    1. 2

I think your image on the front is fine. The other ones on your site are low quality. Especially the social icons on the footer. Try out fontawesome.com for some free svg icons. They will be really helpful.

Make people want to be on your site. It looks somewhat outdated and there is too much text and not enough images. Make it look attracting and people will stay on longer.

Keep working on it and tell me if you have more questions. 😄

      1. 1

Thank you. I will take a look at fontawesome and adding more images.

    1. 1

Powow looks great! The front of the site with the blue to white gradient is nice 👌! You could probably spend a bit more time on the footer though. The content is all there, it could look a bit more appealing. The quote is a good idea but doesn't look the ones you see in more modern sites. example here

Also, the labels on the images with things like "consultation", "coaching", and so on... they look a bit old. The labels have almost no padding on the top which makes it feel tight and unfinished for sure. The font could be smaller and I suggest trying something like Open Sans or Work Sans for the labels.

One more thing. The navigation links go away (transparent text color) when I hover over it. If this is a design choice, I definitely wouldn't go with it. Instead, make it change the the accent color of your site which in this case is that vibrant blue.

Great job and tell me how these improvements go! 😄

  27. 1

Would be grateful to get your thoughts on my website:

    www.weakbackbuilder.com

    1. 1

I think the pink is a nice pop of color. Makes certain sections stand out. Make sure you use that to your advantage. I would suggest adding some line-height between the main paragraphs and making the font bigger. I also think you shouldn't use those pink icons as your main source for showing images on your site. You can always find cool free vector illustrations that will look great on your site.

You should also make the navigation bar links stand out more. Maybe when you hover over them, they make it look like they are clickable. Right now they look like plain text. Overall, you're website's UI elements need a do-over. Start working on the form elements to look more modern-day. Then move onto other important elements like content and footer.

This can go great places if you use these pieces of advice and more! 😄👍

      1. 1

Cool thanks for taking the time to review it, made note...

    1. 1

Cool product! Can't wait for soft launch! 😀

I think you should make the landing page on the front pop out. The content on the home page looks great and is very organized but the front doesn't reflect that. The email address and "query now" buttons don't look very welcoming either. The box-shadow is too dark and the inputs are very generic looking.

Keep up the work and I think this can be a great final product! 👏😄

      1. 1

        You are very kind, sir!
I'll work on these before launching

  28. 1

    Hey there!
Thank you for this offer, it's really nice of you! Here is mine:

    1. 2

The Storm Troopers are a good settle theme. It's cool how they're in most of the pictures! I would suggest trying out a dark theme on your site. Who knows what it will look like? I think you have a really responsive layout. Good job! 👏

When I go to the "message us" button, the icons next to it (even though that is your color palette) don't fit the actual ones in reality. For example, the facebook button is red, which doesn't make me think facebook. If it was blue, the users might click on it earlier and won't skip it.

      Great job overall! 😀👍

      1. 1

        Hey Brayden!

Thank you so much for the feedback, it is really helpful! So you think I should switch the colors of the social icons to match the brands' colors instead of pushing my brand palette?

In any case thank you so much for the feedback! :)

        David

        1. 2

No problem! But yes. I think you should only change the brand logos. For example the Facebook should be blue, and the other non associated brand logos like a map or envelope icon can be whatever.

          1. 1

Good idea! Thank you for the feedback! :)

  29. 1

Cool thread. Since I plan on a little update/redesign of https://www.gettandem.com/ I would be interested what you have to say before I jump to changes. Thanks!

    1. 1

Hey @strzibnyj. I like the front illustration. Defiantly keep that. One of the aspects you should for sure change is that it looks like you've used Bootstrap or you've made it look too much like a Bootstrap theme. Using Bootstrap is great for pro typing your new ideas but isn't a great route for an actual final website.

Thanks for letting me review your page. 😀

      1. 1

Thanks for the opinion! Just for clarity it's not bootstrap :).

        1. 1

Ok. Maybe change the font so people wont think that. Maybe open sand or Rubik would be a good choice. 👍

  30. 1

Hi Brayden, thanks for offering help.
If you are still available I would like some comments on the landing page for an app I've been working on.
    https://galloglobalgroup.com/spiceitup

    1. 1

This is a good start 🙂. I would keep the background and the orange. Those will be good. One problem about the content is that the text takes 50% of the screen and the image takes about about 20%. This isn't good because it looks unbalanced. I would suggest keeping the image size how it is and increase the width of the text. And make the font for the "what's it about" title nice and huge.

      Great landing page! 🙂👍

    1. 1

Hey @eduardosasso ! This landing page is kind of short. But that makes sense! It's okay if it is short. Now you gotta make it POP! This will be what people see and if your landing page is awesome, the user will most likely subscribe. So change to a new font. Add a parallax background image to attract more to your page. And make that signup section pop out the most.

This could be something great, man. 👍😀

    1. 1

Very nice design for a "coming soon" page. Using purple as an accent color was a smart choice. It looks very good. What if you changed the button's purple background to a purple--pink gradient? Tell me how it looks. I think your font is nice and simple and easy to read. I'll be happy to review the website when it comes out.

Can't wait to see the release! 😀

      1. 2

It must take a lot of time for you to do these. Thanks for taking a look! 😄

        1. 1

Yeah I guess it does take some time. I don't have a job so I have free time for sure.

Meant to find people with poorly performing websites that are slow to load.

    1. 1

I think your website looks amazing! I can easily tell that your website is about helping developers improve their website speed. This is great! On the design side, the title on the front is white on a somewhat light/dark background which makes it hard to read. On the "hire us" button at the top on hover, a very slight background change to a light grey isn't enough. If you have an accent color in mind that you would use for your site, use it there.

This looks great and your work is amazing! 👍😀

      1. 1

Thanks! Looks great, but tbd on effectiveness =/ I need to do some testing.

    1. 1

Hey @perryraskin! I like your logo a lot! It shows your business pretty well! Love the dark/light mode toggle 🌞/🌙. That is always a good idea! 👍

I think you could make the dark mode's different sections stand out like they do in the light theme.

Very good font choices, colors, and content. Overall, a well-planned website! 😀

      1. 1

Wow, thanks so much. I'm so proud lol. Obviously plenty to work on but I'm so happy you thought all of these nice things!!

Appreciate any pointers you can give me!

    1. 2

Very cool idea @shuhari! I think that this could grow into something big! 👍

I think you should first, add a landing page. The recent topics section is an okay idea, but I think you should have a real landing page that describes your site and tells new users what to do first.

Also, the drop down part of the topics page isn't necassary and looks very messy. I think it would be best to go with a CSS grid and within each grid item, have a topic (math, data science, etc...).

Can't wait to see this improve! 😀👏

      1. 1

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Brayden!

We used to have a more traditional landing page, but went with the current version to display content up front, like Reddit does.

The drop down on the topics page is important since our "subreddits" are organized into a tree, and I'm not sure a CSS grid would be optimal to convey that information. If you have any ideas for how to make it less messy while retaining a tree structure, I would love to hear them!

    Thanks for your time.
I would highly appreciate your feedback 🙏

    1. 2

That's a pretty darn good website you got there @vignestio! Very clear visuals and animations help show off your product to the users. Nice job on that! The responsive design is also great too.

When I click on one of the nav links, go to the page, and come back to the home page, the link is a grayish purple. Originally it was a dark blue. This is because you didn't set the link color so it will go to default.

Great job on that site! You got a great future! 😀👍

      1. 1

🤦‍♂️ I'll fix the link color issue and Thanks for your feedback.

    1. 1

Wow! I've been looking for something like this! The only advice I have for you site is to add some scroll animations. I tell people this a lot and it pays off for sure when they add an AOS transition. The"Why?" "How?" sections are pretty cool and fresh looking. Also, it would be really cool if you could do something to animate the rocket at the end of the page. Maybe have it lift off or something. 🚀

Very nice design and I can't wait for the beat version! 😁👍

    1. 2

I like the layout of your website a layout. The illustration on the front page is cool and fits the theme very well. When I saw your logo, it reminded me of the Loom logo (https://res-1.cloudinary.com/crunchbase-production/image/upload/c_lpad,h_256,w_256,f_auto,q_auto:eco/v1484704776/ex3i5elh9b37gjilhnic.png).

I would suggest changing the color of it so it doesn't look close to it.

      Great job, man! 😉

I like your website and I believe this can help lots of people around the world run a better shop. Good job! 👍

Maybe you could add some AOS (animate on scroll) transitions to the images. A fade-in-right or fade-in-left would do. https://michalsnik.github.io/aos/

Overall, your site is very clean and the flow is magnificent. 🙂👍

Very cool. The smooth scroll feature is nice. Maybe the front image can be a bit higher quality? Try using unsplash.com for great images. The list of software and hardware is pretty cool looking too. Maybe the about section can have an image that would describe your business. Also, the "contact" nav link isn't visible on the about page.

      Nice work! 👍

Very smart idea! Many will find this helpful. 👍

I think you should change the video option design. It looks a bit out-dated and there are many Libraries like Video.js or FlowPlayer to help improve the design.

That's a cool idea you got there. I wish you luck! 😄👍

      1. 1

Thank you so much! Yes - I have a bit of work to do on the video and design. I'll get there! I appreciate your supportive feedback.

    1. 1

I like the modernism of your site. It is very bright and displays a happy message. The pricing section is very well done and is far by one of the best I've seen when doing this post. Something I would suggest is for when the user clicks on the "FAQ" nav link, it should send them to the page with the different categories instead of doing nothing. Keep the drop down though. It looks nice.

Keep up the great work! 😄

    1. 1

The orange is nice on your website but maybe there is a bit too much on the front of your site. I would also suggest changing the GitHub icon on the button to match the real one. The "Why us" section could use some improving too. Either add more reasons of why users should choose you and make sure you center the list (enlarging the font wouldn't be a bad idea either 😉).

Anyway, your site looks great! 👍

    1. 1

Pretty cool layout and the design easy to follow. Please take more time to add content though. Maybe go into a bit more detail about the course (because it sounds cool and people will want to know more 😉).

I think your design is great though 👍

      1. 1

Thank you, I'm going to add more details :)

    1. 1

The "latest jobs" section is very consistent without looking boring. Your site design is very fresh and I can tell you've spent lots of time working on it 👏. Some of your content groups towards the bottom of the page are completely the right or left. I think they would look much better if they are centered.

Nice job @Iamkarsoft ! Keep it up! 👍

      1. 1

Much grateful for the feedback. will work on the pointers to improve.

  37. 1

I would love to get your thoughts! Thanks for doing this for the community. Here's our homepage: https://savology.com

    1. 2

That's a cool site! I think that the image on the front of the page should reach the full height of the screen. It leaves an empty white space about 80px tall and it doesn't feel right. The images of your product should be a bit higher resolution. I know that is good for optimization, but you should give larger screens higher res images.

Very cool and nice accent green color! 😉👏

      1. 2

Woah. Never thought I'd see that domain again.
        Good luck.

      2. 1

@BraydenTW awesome thank you for those – I’ll take another look today and make sure we address them. Appreciate it!

    1. 1

The WaterCooler's site makes sense and is easy to understand. I like the button on your site because they look very fresh. The quotes/testimonials design on your page is very thought out. Good job 👍!

I would suggest that you order the prices: free, regular, generous. The free price shouldn't be all the way on the right because most people see the first one on the left. I would also style the different prices and make the one that you want people to buy stand out. More users will buy it than before.

      Very cool! 😄👍

      1. 2

Thank you for the feedback! I originally had the prices in that order too. That's the most obvious order (increasing prices), but I wanted to slightly de-emphasize the free plan so decided to put it on the end instead. Not sure how well that will work. I'll play around with it a bit more.

        Thanks again.

    1. 1

Very cool blog you have there! I'll have to keep up with it! The first thing I'll say is that the blog post on the homepage takes up the WHOLE screen. I would suggest having multiple posts featured instead of just one and to also make those posts smaller too. Your navigation bar has a cool background blur style which I dig.

Nice job and keep it up! 😄👍

  38. 1

Would love to hear what you think about http://pipfeed.com/.
I just finished making this landing page today.

    1. 2

First thing I think, "wow". I can tell you've put in a lot of time into this website. The images are stunning and the black and white contrasting is great. The "Check out what people are reading on PipFeed today" section could use some tuning up. Also, the download on apple store and google play buttons are very big and they could be shrunken down for sure.

      Great job, dude! 👏😄

      1. 1

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Will work on improving those sections.

    1. 2

Haha! Cool monkey logo! Your site quickly displays the point you want to give the users. Nice job 👍! I don't have much to say other than change the color of the buttons on your homepage. They are a bit too dark and should be red, orange, and blue. It will looks great.

      Thanks for the inspiration. 👋

Thanks so much for taking a look. When you say "red, orange, and blue" are you saying that:

        • "Talk to us" should be red
        • "Become a remote company" should be orange
        • "Visit Supportress" should be blue
        1. 1

Yes. Feel free to change the order if you want but stick with those colors 🎨. They will look great!

I'm sure you're plenty busy by now, but --> SoVisual.co

I just posted over the weekend that I was looking for unfiltered feedback for it!

    1. 2

Very cool site. The content and images are amazing and well fit the theme of your site. I love the image parallax behind the "Social Packs are Here to Save the Day" section. Looks very cool and makes the text stand out.

I feel like in mobile mode, the navigation bar is too small and the welcome title has a small line height which doesn't leave space around the ✅ emoji.

Overall, you did a great job! 👍

    1. 1

Nice website. Really displays your product well! The slate background along with blue accent color sure looks great. 👍

Your app mock up doesn't really reflect that same feeling your website gives though. Updating the UI of the app will make your website look awesome 👌 ! And just for fun, try adding a animated on scroll feature or parallax to the images.

Very cool product and website! 👍

      1. 1

Thank you for your feedback! I’ll try to add some animations as soon as I have some free time!

    1. 2

I like the idea of PartyMode. Personally, I would use it. 👍

The second link you sent me is also nice. Minimalist and your logo fits the design. I would suggest adding a bit more content without ruining the Minimalism.

      Very good job! 👏

      1. 1

Thank you for the feedback and glad to see another one of these posts!

        1. 1

You're welcome! If people like these, I guess I can make this more of a regular thing. Please tell some of your friends about my newest feedback post so more can get the quality feedback they deserve. 👍

    1. 2

Very cool product! I think I'll use it. Anyway, your site has a very clear purpose and is easy to understand. This content and images are well balanced. Good job! 👍

Your footer though looks much different from the rest of the page. It is somewhat boring and bland and it doesn't reflect on the rest of the site.

Can't wait to use it on my Slack! 👍

      1. 1

Oh cool, thanks so much @BraydenTW!

Good feedback on the footer 🙏

Wow, great post! Check out our machine learning tool: https://maiot.io/.. The product is a bit technical but the intent was to communicate the value we bring to the machine learning world for all sorts of audiences. Thanks in advance!

    1. 1

Wow! Bold choice of colors! The purple and green usually wouldn't work but you made it happen! 👍

I would suggest changing the accept, decline, learn more buttons. The border color is set to default I'm pretty sure and it doesn't make that part of your website look good.

      Great job! 👍

      1. 1

Thanks! Ill take that back to the team :-)! much appreciated

    1. 1

I think the text flip animation is cool. All the business logos on the teal/white gradient look awkward. I would suggest adding a white background to that part so it looks more pleasant to the eye.

Your scroll animations look very nice and so does the rest of your site. 👍

    1. 2

That drone video on the welcome page is outstanding! Nice font choice and colors. Something that could be changed is the plans section. There isn't really something there that tells me which one I should buy. It's smart to add something that says "10% off" or "Most Popular" to attract more buyers.

I think your product is great! 😄

      1. 1

Wow, thank you so much Brayden - both for taking the time to give us feedback, and for your kind words.

You have a really valid point about the plans section, will discuss that with my partner to see if we can make it a bit "sexier" and easy to choose :)

        Thanks again!

    1. 2

Very cool site! Did you make those drawings? They really add something to your site. The site has a minimalist feel which is trending right now. 👍

The images below the How can I help section aren't centered and need something added to them to stand out.

Great job and I love your work! 👏😄

      1. 1

Thank you so much for the feedback. Will work on the images :)

    1. 1

Feels like there is too much text on the welcome section. Not much line-height to the paragraph either which makes it hard to read and easy to get lost in. The section with the countries flags could use some improving too. Try to decrease the amount of content you have on the page. Trust me. Your users will appreciate it.

Very nice though! Keep it up! 👏

    1. 1

Very cool! The iMacs on the landing page pop out. Nicely done! The purples and blues look great in my opinion and give off a good vibe. Unfortunately, the MacBook on the "complete control" section is almost lost in the background. Maybe choose a different background and that would look better and help the rest of the site out.

Great job and keep up the good work! 👍

  41. 1

Would be great if you could help me with Hellonext’s landing page: https://hellonext.co

    1. 1

Very modern and bright. The blue buttons fit nicely with the overall design of you site! Maybe the navigation links on the top are a bit tight? I also think the product page should have some images in it. All text isn't usually the best route to go.

      Good work! 😄👏

      1. 2

First of all, respect to what you are doing @BraydenTW.

Your suggestion makes sense. I’m working on it to make these changes. Thanks mate.

        1. 1

          Thanks so much! 🙏🙂

Hey Brayden! Same app, but different names/concepts (not sure which one will work better. What do you think? Thanks!

    http://keepuppy.com/
    http://timemute.com/

    1. 1

I like Keepuppy the best. First of all, the header with the highlighted "the most" part looks fresh. Very clear and your design of the website makes gets the purpose of the site to the viewer.

      Good luck! 👍

  43. 1

Just published fresh version :) https://voxes.io

    1. 2

Wow. Looks nice @Azard! Very nice layout and design. Maybe a dark mode of the site would be cool? Add a parallax to the images? Just some ideas. I think it looks great and is very easy to navigate through.

      Nice job! 👍

  44. 1

https://weightwager.carrd.co/ (plus the form that loads when you press the black button at the bottom).

Please note - this is just a landing page to test the pre-release beta of my app.

My actual website is at: http://www.WeightWagerApp.com

Happy to have feedback on either or both! Thank you!

    1. 1

Interesting! The carrd site looks good and makes me want to use it. It's very welcoming. The real site is okay. I think you should choose a font like Rubik or Montserrat to enhance the look of your website. Make the paragraphs larger in font size too.

      Pretty cool product 👍😄

      1. 1

Thank you - I agree that the main site could use a better font - I will make the changes - apprciate your time!

          1. 1

I made the changes you suggested - I increased the font size and changed the font to Rubik and it looks dope - thanks again! It needed a bit more punch and you gave it to me!

p.s. refresh the page for different hero images

            1. 1

              It sure does! 😁

Now since you increased the font size, change the line-height to to make the space between the lines a bit bigger. (not too much space though!)

    1. 2

Cool product! The colors look nice and the loading screen is fresh. However, the header at the beginning that says "You took the right route" is covering some of the content.

      Overall, nice job! 👏

      1. 2

Hey Brayden, thank you for the feedback I really appreciated!
I just wanted to ask you , what browser did you use?
        Thank you again :)

        1. 2

I used the latest version of chrome (chrome 81). I updated to the new chrome a couple days ago. Don't know if that helps at all.

          Have a nice day! 👍

          1. 2

That was really helpful thank you my friend.
If you have any other suggestions/issues or recommendations please feel free to lets us know.

            Have a nice day too!😊

This is awesome! Would love some feedback on http://youngnotbroke.co/
    Thanks 😃

    1. 2

Cool landing page! The tall navigation bar looked great at first, but then when I scrolled down, it felt like it was taking up to much of the screen. The rest of your site looks great and is easy to navigate through.

Just fix the navigation bar so when you scroll down, it hides itself.

      Wish you well! 👍😄

        1. 1

          You're very welcome! 🙂

  46. 1

Hey @BraydenTW thanks for doing this! I appreciate any and all feedback.
    www.chromabill.com

    1. 2

This looks great! The rainbow colors and the black background fit great together! Unfortunately, the welcome page didn't load for a whole 5 seconds (which is a HUGE deal). My natural instinct would be to close the tab and do something else (but I have to review this). I didn't even know there was any other content besides the navigation bar and the black background.

So yeah. Just work on optimizing images or whatever you will have to fix to load the welcome section faster. 👍

      1. 1

Hi @BraydenTW Thanks for taking the time out of your day to check out my landing page. Really great feedback. I'm using Wix as my host provider so I'm surprised it's taking so long to load. I'll make sure to get that issue resolved.

    1. 1

Very clean design! It has a nice illustration on the front too! The orange/pinkish footer on the bottom looks outstanding! The only piece of feedback to give is that the navigation bar on mobile view. It has a grey background which doesn't fit with he rest of your page.

      That's all I have to say. 👍😃

      1. 1

Ah nice, thanks! Good spot on the grey menu hadn't noticed that.

    1. 2

This looks very nice @Consultily! The content looks great and you used your color palette with the fonts and buttons well. The illustrations add a lot to the page and it's good you added WhatsApp feature. I think you should make the navigation bar less cluttered so it isn't taking up more space than the screen's width.

      Nice job! 😃

      1. 1

Thank you for the feedback! Will definitely take a look at the navigation bar.

    1. 1

Hey @girishw, usually I would advise people to not have a color changing background on a website. However Re:Schedule is simple and with bits of color and surprisingly the two do well together. Very clever! I would suggest using a font like Helvetica Neue (or something close to San Francisco) to fit the app theme. Poppins doesn't look that good and makes your product look cheap when it really isn't.

      Keep it up! 👍

    1. 1

Wow @shiva_prabhakaran! The parallax on the home page looks GREAT!!! Very smart use of it. I like how your site is simple and shows what you want your viewers need to see and how it doesn't throw too much at them. Personally, the Twitter icon feels a bit lonely. Maybe add your username next to it or add more icons to fill up the space.

      Nice job! 😄👏

    1. 1

Haha! The AniEmoji logo is very cool! SO popular! The scribble image on the front is cool and really portrays what you want the users to leave with. The black background looks nice on that part of the page, but it is not favorable by users to have all black backgrounds with heavier white text. I would advise you to either make the text thinner, change the color to a light grey, or change the background to a dark grey.

      Nice website! 👍👏

  47. 1

Definitely would appreciate some feedback :)
    https://toastedanalytics.com

    1. 2

Great job @pierdolinski! Your logo looks phenomenal! I like the typing animation and the live demo on the welcome section. That's the first things the user will see and you took great advantage of that. Nice 👍! It is packed with content and you used spacing and sections well to not overwhelm the users.

Can't wait to see it grow even more! 😄

    1. 1

Very clean and simple to understand! Nice @Glenn! The orange button on the home page would look nicer with the blue background if you made the orange a bit lighter. Then, when the user hovers on the button, THEN it could have that darker orange color.

Thanks for sending me it! 😀👍

    1. 1

Very cool typing animation! So inspiring! The turquoise buttons and dark navy backgrounds fit together nice 👌. I would advise you to center the "Get mentored by industry veterans" section. It doesn't look good on the left side. I also would say that you should add something to the footer to make it stand out. Something as simple as a contrasting black background would do the job.

      Love the website! 👍😄

    1. 2

Well done @aalimovs ! You clearly know how to punch 👊 the users in the face with your product, the message, and it's purpose. The illustration in the background is very fitting. I noticed however that when I go on to mobile view, the images that used to look nice on a big screen are very small and would be hard to tell what it says and what it is showing about your product.

Love the design and everything else! 👍

    1. 1

Hey that's a pretty good idea! I love the dark/light mode feature. It is very trending. I would suggest changing the font of the dates on the right side. I don't know if it is just an error or you just chose to use the plain serif font.

Overall, I love your site and think it can really grow.

      1. 1

Nice thank you, yeah was on purpose wanted to use the only browser supported fonts to keep it extremely fast, but will have a look into making them all sans-serif.

  48. 1

Howdy. I’d love some feedback on https://quantqon.com

    1. 1

Hey @80dstudio . I think your website has good content and I clearly no what its purpose is. I would suggest adding better images and using a more modern font. Open Sans or Work Sans would work best in this case.

It will help your website once you make these changes. 👍

  49. 1

    Hello,

Would love to hear, my website is build with the WordPress theme Primer, and for the content I have worked with the Gutenberg plugin and the Getwid plugin.

Both of these that I really love, to manage content.

    URL: HTTPS://kingmailer.co

    1. 1

Nice job! Immediately the first thing I think of is how simple (in a good way 👍) it looks. You have lots of good content and organized it well. Something that would enhance your website a ton would be to style your pricing and plans section like this. https://dribbble.com/shots/9392129-CometChat-Pro-Pricing
      That would looks awesome.

      Have a good day. 👍

      1. 1

Wow so happy to have some positive feedback... haha I had a different design when I first joined this community, which was apparently really bad. So I guess I did a good job with the new design.

I will check the Pricing and plans section as you mentioned, thank you.

    1. 1

Very cool idea @igitresethard ! Very nice layout and it is easy for me to go through. I would suggest not making the background so dark because it contrasts with the white text a lot and that is harder to read compared to if you have a somewhat lighter background.

I think you did a good job! 👏😃

      1. 1

Thanks @BraydenTW! I added a light mode for now, I'll make the appropriate changes to dark mode! Thanks so much. Anything I can give you feedback on?

    1. 1

Nicely done! I love the scroll animations. They look amazing! The Add to Slack button is very cool and stands out. The font fits great with your landing page. I would suggest adding a drop down animation on the navigation bar in mobile mode. Make it look like it smoothly slides down. That is trending.

Overall, great site and can't wait to see it grow!

    1. 1

Nice job @aanandmadhav ! I love your product and the content. The first thing that I would tell you is that the animation on the front of the page looks a bit low-resolution. I would also suggest that if you are going the neumorphism route, you should change the background from grey to something more like #0e0e3f and change the shadows based off that color. Trust, me it will look better.

      Good job! 😃👍

    1. 1

Very cool idea you have there! If there is one thing that I have to say, is that the colors all looks great together. However, you use the Poppins font. Not a bad choice, but it usually isn't great to have all over your site. It looks a bit old and makes your great project lose its (ya know...) greatness. I would also suggest using a font like Roboto Mono or Source Code Pro on the code snippet sections. Poppins doesn't look great on it again. I would still use Poppins on the titles though.

Nice job @eldafux ! I can really see this growing!

    1. 1

Very cool @gertig ! I love the design of it. It's so unique! The logo looks amazing and so does the buttons.

Something that was bugging me was the ProductHunt banner on the button. It was always there and since the navbar is also fixed, the amount of content you can see is limited. Keep the navbar fixed, but find a different way to show the ProductHunt section. Maybe add it on the side?

Still, great job on this site! 😃

      1. 1

Hi @BraydenTW thanks for the feedback! We also got stuck with the PH banner. Weren't sure how best to handle it. Will likely be taken down this week.

Love that you are doing this!

        1. 1

Thanks! Glad to no that I'm being of help to people.

    1. 1

No problem @benas11 ! (This is very hard because I got a lot more comments than I expected)

Anyway, the site is very nice and easy to understand. That light green you included contrasts well with the darker and lighter colors in your design. I would suggest choosing a different font though. Something like Rubik or Whitespace would looks great.

      Nice job dude! 😃

      1. 2

Yeah, I know the feeling, I made something similar on IH and got overwhelmed with responses :) Thanks for the advise, I will check those fonts. Good luck with the rest!

    1. 2

Hey, nice job! The layout is very clean and simple to understand. I would suggest adding some type of AOS (animate on scroll) or Parallax in the "What do you want to mail?" section. It just looks a bit bland and it feels like something is missing.

      Well done job! 👍

      1. 1

Yes, good idea. It does seem rather static right now. Appreciate the feedback -- will incorporate today!

    1. 2

Can't wait until the new one is deployed! The original site's icons looked a bit outdated and the rest of the site didn't fit together well. The newer site looks very modern and minimalist. The mono-type fonts looks great! However, the navigation menu when it slides in is bit strange. The purpleish background doesn't fit with the rest of the site and the links looks a bit too demanding and large.

Very nice design job you did there! 😀👍

      1. 2

Is usable already, is just that I keep updating stuff and is visible.

Actually, the icons were a reason for changing the whole site looks and rebrand it, including the logo.

I am using Fira Code Retina and Inter Ui as fonts, I love monospace fonts I wanted to use Neue Machina, but I can't afford that...
The other reason is that the site is used by developers and designers. Many developers use Fira Code on their editor and designers use Inter UI very often too. It was a good match.

Yeah, I need to work on the navigation, I had it only on the left side but I was not sure what to do with it, maybe rework on it again.

I am really happy you like it, it means a lot to me!

Thank you so much for doing this Brayden

        1. 1

          No problem dude! 👏😃

          1. 1

💪💪 navbar is changed. Thank you !

  50. 1

    Hello Brayden,

    Thanks for the initiative!

Here is my landing page https://knockhq.co

Would be happy to hear your advices!

    1. 1

Dang @julesdee ! You got some real talent! The website looks clean and bright. The illustrations are nice and the buttons are outstanding! My tips I would give you are to change the scroll delay on the 1. create your office, 2 invite your teammates etc.. When I scrolled down the first time, there was a big blank space in where it was supposed to go and a bit later it popped up. I think there is too much of delay there. Also, you should fix the image slideshow (with the buttons) on mobile because the buttons looks a bit tight and it doesn't reflect the niceness of the rest of the landing page.

Overall, you did an AMAZING job on it! 👍

      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! Really appreciate 🙏

        1. 1

          You're welcome! ☺

    1. 1

Cool! Hey @CW92, your site looks great and the animations on scroll movement are prefect 👌. I would suggest not using so much color on the welcome section. The background is fine but the button is very colorful too and they don't fit together well. Either change the button's color to make it fit with the background or just make it black. Great job!

      1. 1

Thanks for the advice, I have changed the button background to white and I can't believe how much better that looks 👍

  51. 1

    https://meetfriends.app

Thank you for your time and effort!

    1. 2

Very, very, cool @kaioelfke ! The screenshots and app concept looks very good. The tips I have for you are to change the blur-in animated at the beginning. It is a bit to slow and looks a bit weird and doesn't fit in. You should use https://michalsnik.github.io/aos/ (an Animate On Scroll library) to make that animation or other ones look nicer. Also, the margins around the screenshots and content aren't very big so it makes the site looked very packed.

      Good job, man! 😄

      1. 1

Thank you @BraydenTW I will work on the animations and margins.

  52. 1

Here is mine, lacking on design compared to the examples of other landing pages. https://www.starmessagesoftware.com/softmeter
I hope at least the content and the narative makes sense.

    1. 2

Don't worry about that. Sure, it could use a little do-over, but I think your narrative and content makes sense and it is easy to find my way around the page. Very clean indeed! 😄👍

    1. 1

Hey that's very cool! The red logo pops out next to the blue sky. I would suggest picking a different background image that's a bit brighter and also choose a different font for the email address input. Very nice job! 👍

    1. 1

Hey @PayOffWizard, that's a nice looking site you got there. BuyLocalized.com clearly lets me know of what your selling and makes me want to use it. Great job!

I might just be a little picky, but the thumbnails for your blog posts look a bit messy and don't reflect the rest of the site which is so clean and neat. I would also make the retailer section with the logos of other brands stand out a bit more. What I mean is that you should make the logos in that section pop out a bit more.

Great job and you've got a bright future! 😄

      1. 1

Cheers. Ya our developer got a full time job, and I haven't been label to figure out how to make the article thumbnails look better. I haven't looked into it a ton though.

Right-on Brayden...Marc here, working on a Guided Breathing, Music Mindfulness, Relaxation App. My biggest current challenge is finding/getting people to tell their impressions of the videos which will be the foundation of the App.
    Thanks for helping out!

    1. 1

Pretty cool idea @shairwellness! First of all, you shouldn't use Wix for your site (sorry) if you want to do it free. Try Netlify or InfinityFree. There is no branding like Wix has. This will make your site look more professional. I think the background on the front of your page looks nice and the blue button pops out and makes me want to click on it.

Your site makes me definitely feel relaxed which is good. However, I think the comment section is unnecessary. Maybe change the main font to a nice on like Rubik or Open Sans. Your font on the title that says "Deep Breathe to Achieve... Good Health" and so on does not look relaxing.

Very good idea and I think this can go far! 👍😄

      1. 1

I'm very grateful for your time, attention, and insights Brayden...this is helpful as I seek a tech co-founder, partners, early adoptors, and advisors.

I'm wedded to the comment section to learn more about the user's experience...as opposed to people just saying I was "relaxed". I'm trying to dig deeper, and I believe it will serve as I proceed with UX .

        Thank you again!

      No problem! 😄

      • The "Why online business?" title is too slim. Make it a bit wider and give it some breathing room. If it still looks off, try shrinking the font size of it.
      • I think the icons for "Build, Market, Sell and Grow" look awesome. Try to bring that styling to the rest of your site.
      • The email address input form has unequal padding for the submit button. Just a minor fix, but I think it would increase the clean look of the site as a whole.
      • When I shrink the window, the hero title is again too small and there is too much space around the title and the image. Use less padding and add more breakpoints so it can be more responsive.
      • Take time in adding a footer at the bottom where you can put the name and other social links that could grab some attention.
      • In a screen smaller than, let's say, 600px, the titles should be much smaller. The paragraph font size is just fine but I think you should have the titles be smaller.

      Hope this helps. 👋

Hey @xtbhyn ! I really like the flow between your animation on the front page! The images are very clear and speak for themeselves. Maybe you could change the "Get early access before we launch" form section. Mainly the input. The background of the form is black and that doesn't fit well when you already have lots of purple.

      Have a nice day! 🙂

The image at the beginning takes a bit to load. (Just a minor thing)

The content and big blue icons are cool but you should have the icons on alternating sides.

Overall, this is a very nice and consistent design you have (I love the typing animation at the beginning 😄).

The landing page video is a good intro to your product. Let's me know the who, what, and why. The shirt illustration is nice and consistent. I would suggest adding something whether it's an image or video around the pricing or features section. It's a bit bland there.

      Good job, man! 👏😄

What image do you have in mind? A picture of the dashboard?

        1. 1

I don't know the product as much as you do so I'll leave it up to you. =

Think: What do you want your users to think of when they leave the site? What else can you add to convince them?

Very cool idea and I think this can go a long way!

Some tips I'll give to you on the design is that "Hey visitor" popup on the front looks a bit out of place. The box-shadow is very strong and dark, and the icon is kind of small. I love how the different kits from small to large show bigger houses when you go up in price. That's a nice feature!

Overall, your product and your website are great! 👏

      Oh ok. No worries.

I’ve been learning web development for the past 4 years and am self taught. I did I say I was a professional Andy was mostly posting this to get some practices. I did not know I wouldn’t get this much request. Then again, I am not selling my tips .org reviews of other websites. This is all free.

Sorry about that Andy I hope you have a nice day! 👍
