Hey No-Code Community!
My name is Lacey Kesler and I'm so excited to join this community!
I'm going to be moderating this community and continuing Courtland's work to build a strong No-Code community on IH.
I'm excited to get to know you and provide resources, AMAs, online events, etc. to foster the growth here.
A little bit about me:
No-Code is my fulltime gig. I do freelance projects where I build startups with no-code tools. I also run a separate community of Women in No-Code and have a podcast called Visual Dev. FM. I've trained at Stanford University on no-code, as well as the Bloomberg Beta team. I'm working on some side projects that are focused on no-code education that I hope to roll out later this year.
I'm here to help you grow and learn - if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. :)
If there is a way this community can serve you better, I'd like to hear about it.
Hi Lacey,
Congratulation. I also work on a few projects with no-code tools. It's interested to hear that there is a training related to this subject at Stanford University. Would you share more information about that course or class? Thank you.
Hey there! Thanks!
Sure, we (myself, Ben, and Matt who I work with on Visual Dev FM) were invited by Elliott Adams (he is a founder / advisor in the startup world) and he engaged Standford about facilitating a no-code course for a 6 or 8 weeks, I think.
So, Elliott invited us to come to speak and teach what we know about no-code. Elliott brought in different speakers on different weeks and I think had the students start working with the tools.
Ben, Matt, and I are also faciliating training at another college in California in October on using no-code to build digital products.
Hi Lacey! I'm putting together content for AppGyver (https://www.appgyver.com/) at the moment. I'm also planning a podcast with another female colleague, where we'll cover themes like nocode, diversity in tech, and the open source movement.
Seems like we have a lot of similar values :D Would love to be in contact with you and chat about possible collaborations.
Hey @radioesmee!
That's so cool! I've seen AppGyver but haven't gotten to play with it yet! I want to though!
I'd love to chat about collaborations! DM me on Twitter @laceykesler and let's chat!
Hi @laceykesler! Excited to learn from your resources etc 😊 I just launched an app for no-code designing in SwiftUI (https://www.detailspro.app).
I think, most of all, I'm interested in community-building and how to encourage the designers and devs who use my app to engage and share their feedback.
Hey, that's awesome! The layout is super clean - nice work!
I'm seeing more and more products offer community as a form of support with their product and it seems to be going well when the community is engaged.
Welcome and best wishes for your contributions to this community. I'm pinging @radioesmee who may be interested.
Thanks so much! :)
I just joined IH. Excited to be here.
Hi Lacey,
Great to see a female mod here :)
I look forward to learning from you and the other ladies in the no-code space in general.
I'm the founder of No-code Campus, a free no-code program for kids in Rwanda.
Nothing close to Stanford but it's pretty cool to see how these young people enjoy the process.
Thank you so much for your warm welcome! :)
I'd love to hear more about the program you're offering kids! My oldest daughter is getting into visual development and it's so fun to watch her learn and discover!
Congrats! No-Code typically means more clicking; less typing. For you ... not so much. ;-)
Love this! Excited to see the no-code IH community grow.
Welcome lacey!
Thanks, I'm excited to be here!
Glad you’re helping out 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yeah, same! I'm glad to be a part of this group!
Super cool Lacey! I'm getting https://n0c0de.com started as we speak! Focussed on nocode and putting tools to use to create products quickly!
Right on! That's awesome!
Congratulations!
I'm just getting started learning more about No-Code here on IH as well.
That's awesome! Happy to learn alongside you and share the valuable information I find!
I’d like to introduce our no-code product, https://www.tabilet.com . It goes so extremely that one can make even a React mobile with low code or no-code. We are looking for partners.
All the very best @laceykesler. Looking forward to more in-depth conversations.
Sweet, me too! If you've got something specific in mind, let me know!
Congrats! Have gotten a lot more into no-code this year and would love to learn more about your women in no-code community as well if that's alright! :)
Hey, absolutely! DM me on Twitter @laceykesler and let's chat! :)
Congratulations Lacey! I'm sure you'll do great!

Thanks so much @Wyeem! I'm glad to be here and serve this community!
@laceykesler good to have you. what would be your advice to yourself 48 hours ago?
My advice to myself 48 hours ago would be that weekends are for sleep, not staying up late. ;)
In all honesty, it would be not to get so anxious about things I can't control. I was traveling over the weekend, had a lot on my mind and things to do, and instead of enjoying my trip, I was just stressed.
I wish I would have taken a deep breath and done what I could, and not worry about the rest at that moment. It's kinda cheesy, but it's true.
Congratulations Lacey. Let's rock nocode.
Super pumped to be here!
Congrats Lacey!
Thanks so much!
