Hosting services affordable for Free plan offering for my SaaS
I'm planning to offer free website feature for my customers where they give me the required data and I create a website, host it on my servers.
As the website needs some resources for hosting, and as I would like to offer it for free, can you please share what are the possible options for web hosting service which satisfies the following?
- Affordable - As the customers increase, It should be affordable for me to support for free
- Reliable
- API Driven (optional) - It would be great if it has api for uploading the required files to automate
The produce is a SaaS platform where I would like to offer the customers a free plan which has free hosting for their website.

Are your customer websites static, or require a server/database as well?
If static - I'd use Render or Netlify and programmatically spin up websites off of a configuration. Static sites are free on Render and Netlify under a certain bandwidth.
If dynamic - I'd go for the AWS route and use Terraform to represent my infrastructure as code. Then you can spin up a new subdomain programmatically for each additional customer.
Do you mean unlimited static sites per one saas business account? Because each customer of my saas product can have a free website of their own hosted by us.
If you're managing the static site in your own render/netlify account, yes you can have as many static sites as you want.
Is there api for linking custom domains too in thise services?

I haven't done custom domains via API, but you can def do it via the console so I'm hoping it's also available via API
