I contributed to helpmainstreet.com, which was a crowdfunded directory/map of independent businesses and restaurants -- we eventually added direct online ordering when it was available to help restaurants keep more of their revenue and not have to give huge cuts to the delivery services. Possibly some inspiration there?
Well, honestly any idea can help out businesses for sure!
For example, when I built my productivity tool Brutask, it was initially to solve my own need of using a simple To-Do list.
However, after I saw what market was offering, I made it free to access for startups and teams who can use it for their productivity as well.
